Another death that saddens us was that of Ewell SHARP a cousin of mine (through his mother, Edna, who was an ESTES and related to my dad0. I haven't seen Ewell or his family since I was a girl at Pyatt, where he and my brother were friends and his sister Fay statyed with out family and watched us while Mama helped Daddy in the store. We've always felt close to their family, but when we started moving away we lost track of them, but a finer family never lived, and we hated to hear about Ewell. His obituary has me puzzled. I thought his sister Fay BRAZZEL passed away a long time ago, but she was listed as a survivor. I was happy to hear that, but now I'm wondering about Fay. I would love to hear something about her. (I really do have all those cousins that I mention. I think just about everybody in Marion county is related to me in some way).

Mt. Echo Newspaper, Sep 28, 2000 issue, Yakima Valley (Wash.) News by Frankie Seay [Raymond ANDREWS] Another former Arkansas passed away here. He was born at Self, Ark., and I'm not sure where he went to school, but as a young man he lived with his mother, Lillian ANDREWS, at Yellville. Raymond was fishing at O'Sullivan Lake north of Yakima when he had a heart attack. He was brought back to Yakima and passed away at Providence Hospital Sep 11. He's survived by Bernis, their son Jonathan and his wife Patricia, two grandsons, a brother of Oklahoma, a sister Opal MARKLE of Yakima, and his mother-in-law Lela RHEA of Harrison. The family has my sympathy in the loss of a fine man. (Transcribed by Linda Haas Davenport)
