Mt. Echo Newspaper, July 27, 2000 issue - Yakima Valley News column by Frankie Seay "I got some information and notes about the life and passing of a former Yellville man, Jimmy Lee CRAIG, who was born at Yellville in 1933 to Burley and Velma CRAIG and died Jan 26 at Desert Hot Springs, CA, of cancer. Jimmy's widow, Marybeth CRAIG, sent me his obituary and a booklet containing the story of his life from the time he left Yellville as a child and hitchhiked t the School of the Ozarks where he received his education, spent 4 years in the Army and made quite a success of his life in the business world, as well as raising (along with Marybeth) their two children. I had read about Jimmy's passing in the Echo, but was glad t get this information and have passed it on to a friend and former neighbor of his, Ernest JONES, who lived on Fallen Ash Road when Jimmy lived there as a kid. Thanks, Marybeth, for thinking of us and reading the Echo. Out best to you and your children." (transcribed by Linda Haas Davenport)
