Do you have any info on any PRYOR family lines from the state of Delaware? e.g. Ralph Earl PRYOR of Wilmington, DE, b. Aug.21,1899 d. Feb. 1987, or his father James, also of Delaware, or mother Jenny (nee BROWN) PRYOR? I noticed you had a listing for a Ralph Earl PRIOR. Thanks, Glenn Pryor

I am seeking information on Jacob DeVALL (DUVALL) for whom the town of DeVall's Bluff may have been named. He was born in SC or GA, probably around 1800 and apparently lived for many years near DVB and may be interred there. Also seeking info on Chappel DeVALL, son of Jacob. Any Info would be helpful Sam Sayger

I am trying to research my family tree. My father's line came from this area of Ark. His father's name was Carl McCLELAND, and he married Lucille JONES. He had a brother (Jack?) and a sister (Emma DORSE?). I'm new at this so any information you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Researching BRIDGES in Prairie County. Clinton H. BRIDGES m. Elizabeth ALDRIDGE 1 May 1856. John Wesley BRIDGES m. Frances SLATTERY 17 Nov. 1872. I have been searching in Pulaski Co. and White Co. for 18 years, but a database today found these two marriages for me. I believe John Wesley BRIDGES and Clinton Henagan BRIDGES were brothers. Clinton'S wife must have died, and he moved to Fla, where he became a doctor, marrying a GA lady. John Wesley BRIDGES 1st wife died in January before he married Frances SLATTERY. John Wesley became an ordained minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church South, ordained in Searcy. I have a lot on their backgrounds, and would love to exchange information. Perhaps Prairie County will be the one that breaks down my brick wall!!!! Mildred Brady Venitucci emvee@kingwoodcable.com

I am seeking information on the following individuals: Elizabeth ALDRIDGE m. Clinton H. BRIDGES 01 May 1856; Lucretia BRIDGES m. N. M. CONWAY (CONAWAY?) 01 Sep 1857; John Wesley BRIDGES m. Frances E. SLATTERY 17 Nov 1872. John Wesley BRIDGES was my g.grandfather; Lucretia and Clinton were his brother and sister. Lucretia and Mr. CONWAY must have died, because in the 1860's custody of their two sons is granted to the mother of John Wesley, Mary BRIDGES, in Pulaski County. After she died, the boys went to live with a BRIDGES aunt in Little Rock. Elizabeth ALDRIDGE either died or the marriage broke up because Clinton H. BRIDGES married in 1859 an Emaline WARREN of Macon Co.,GA. He served in the Civil War, and they eventually settled in Coleman, Florida. If anyone has connections to any of these people, please contact me. Question: If a family was found in Caroline Township in the 1850 census, Pulaski Co., would that have later been what was to become Prairie Co? Thank you so much. emvee@kingwoodcable.com Mildred Brady Venitucci
