BARNETT, BURNETT, NEWBERRY, NICHOLS posted by Joan Leir on Wednesday, October 6, 1999: BARNETT/BURNETT/NICHOLS Researching a William BARNETT who had a grandson Wilie NICHOLS living with him in Prairie Co, Center twp, AR 1900 census. My grandmother is Vinnie I. NICHOLS and Wilie or Willy may be her brother (same father). Wilie's mother may be a BARNETT (she died about 1887 or 1888 Newton Co AR). The father William R. NICHOLS and his second wife Mary NEWBERRY died in 1892 when my grandmother was two. We also think there was one more child.

HAMRIC, sons of William & Annie HAMRIC of the Hickory Plains community. (We know that Henry and his mother, Annie Hamric ALWINE, are buried in the Hickory Plains Cemetery).
