Searching for Info. on land owned by Elzenia Mildred JONES (b. 1879), m. to Cecil N. DICKSON b.1876 & d. 1931 (& later owned by son J. H./ or Joseph H. DICKSON, 1857/04/01). I would appreciate places, any info., to search. My G-gdp. place was called: "The Old DICKSON Place," & before that: The JONES Place (poss. owned by Elzenia's dad: John "Jack" A. JONES b. 1851-1916). This land of theirs was in Crawford County, Arkansas. This property seems to be a link, since it was handed down, to learn something of John "Jack" A. JONES's family. Any info. is greatly appreciated. THANKS TRULY, Mildred (Hunter) McGrane.

William Franklin SEYMORE came to AR from North Carolina probably 1880's to early 1890's. He married Mattie Sue GOODMAN ca 1892. They had 10 children, 6 which lived to be adults: William Sylvester (Vester), Rosa Lee (md ? ACRES), Helen (md Nathaniel HART), Adelle (md Charlie JOHNSON), Howard Vincil, and Ethel (md Sam YOUNG). My grandmother was Adelle and they moved north in the 1940's. I would like to hear from any cousins or anyone who has information about this family, either the children's children or Mattie's or William's parents. I am willing to share information I have or copies of pictures. Thanks in advance. Kathy

Jun 17 2001 Hello. I am currently trying to put together a history of Brummitt, Arkansas which is in the southeast corner of Lonoke County just before you cross the Bayou Meto bridge into Prairie Co. If you ever lived at Brummitt or attended school there, I would like to hear from you. I am the daughter of Bill and Louise TEMPLE. I have taught second grade in Lonoke since 1972.

My grandfather and great-grandparents lived in Tollville, AR. Their names are Wenzel and Fannie ROUSHALL. Their son was Robert. They were born in Bohemia and are buried in the Czech National Cemetery in Tollville. They are listed on the 1900 and 1910 census. There was some WPA connection. I am just beginning the research and am stumped as to where to get more information about their life in Prairie County. Thanks. Gale Markley
