I have a picture of my great grandmother sitting in a chair. She is sitting next to a women who is in her later years. The picture is labeled "Mrs. DENNISON" and Elza CUNNINGHAM. If "Mrs. DENNISON" was your loved one, I will be willing to send you a copy of the picture. The picture was taken in Hazen, Prairie County, AR. I'm guessing that the picture was taken in the early 1900's.

I have found listed on the 1880 census, Prairie County, Carlisle Township, a family headed by Benjamin MOBBS, page 220, household 105. I believe that this may be my Great Grandfather. I also believe that he and his wife may have died around this same time. I have a letter from a woman saying that George & Lester lived with their family for some time. That their pretty sister died young. We have always thought that George was orphaned. Any information, cemetary, etc. would be appreciated. Thank you. George D. Mobbs, Jr.

William/Willis Martin WRIGHT (could also be W. M. Vanburen WRIGHT) joined a Confederate outfit in Des Arc in late 1861 or early 1862. He was taken POW, released, then joined another Confederate outfit about 1864. Seeking information about his parents or siblings. W. M. was born about 1840/44 in TN. Later he married Didamia WISDOM (born Franklin Co., ARK) about 1866 in north TX. They were listed as the Martin WRIGHT family on the 1870 Collin Co., TX census; their oldest children were named Allen Stinson W., Mary, Clem Alexander, John Detheridge W... By 1880 the family lived in Montague Co., TX, later moving to OK in early 1890's, in Pottawattomie Co. Does anyone connect with this Wright family? Later surnames included REDWINE, CARR, GREEN, GRUBBS, GEE, ...

I am searching for Artimessa LEDBETTER who married B.S. LUNSFORD in Jonesboro, Ark. I can not find Artimessa's LEDBETTER family. In your White River Journal there is a mention of a LEDBETTER on pg 51, LUNSFORD on pages 35 and 52. I believe that Arte- messa's mother was a BOWEN and in your book BOWEN is mentioned on page 2, and 53. B.S. died 24 Oct 1907 and I do not know the exact date of Artimessa's death but before 1905. One twin child Elsie Fay d about 1906 at age 2. Grateful for any help.

Searching for information on Elias/Eligah W. RIDLEY and wife Virgie KELLUM RIDLEY somewhere on the White River ca 1900-1915. They lived on a house boat and fished, shelled and trapped. They had two children born. One was born ca 1905 listing Devalls Bluff as her birthplace. Her name was Inez RIDLEY. Her brother, George Matthew RIDLEY, was born 1913 at Peach Orchard Bend? They had a son Barney born between Inez and George in that area but I don't know where. He died after they moved to Ouachita Co. I think he died about 1916-17. They are long dead now and I would like to find out any info I can about them.
