I am looking for information on a William L. HUTCHENS from DuValls Bluff. His daughter, Mary Jane "Bonnie" HUTCHENS, was a good friend of mine and I am helping her husband tie up some loose ends after her death. She was born August 31, 1928 in DuValls Bluff. According to her birth certificate her mother's name was Arabella no last name is listed. William was 55 at her birth and Arabella 25. I think I have found William on the 1920 census as a widower with several children. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I am searching for information on the GUTHRIE family of Hazen, Prairie Co., Arkansas. According to family oral tradition, Richard Leroy GUTHRIE (b. 15 May 1877, d. 6 Dec 1946) married Musie Dora PAGE (b. 12 Nov 1885, d. 17 Apr 1978) in Hazen on 27 Jul 1906. Richard Leroy GUTHRIE was the son of William GUTHRIE and Mary MERRITT. Musie Dora PAGE was the daughter of (unknown) PAGE and Elizabeth B. MARLAR(?). My research into the GUTHRIE name has been frustrating; here for several years. I am hopeful that someone reading this can help me find enough information to extend my knowledge by one or two generations so I can connect my family line with that of other GUTHRIEs.

I would like to make contact with descendents or researchers of the John D. MORROW family or the Christopher J. FLINN family. Both families settled in the Wattensas area between Des Arc and DeValls Bluff. Some of the family names children in these families married into, include EDWARDS, HORNE, SANDERS, BRANNON, LOVEJOY, BUCKNER, and JACKSON. Susan MORROW married John JACKSON who was supposedly a riverboat captain. I would like to know what became of them.
