Ann SANDERS was my Great (x?) Grandmother, a Cherokee as listed in the 1924 Baker Roll. Word has it that she died in 1850 in Prairie, Ark. She was born in SC and lived mostly in NC. Why was she in Ark and who else lived with her and how much Cherokee was she?

Can someone tell me how to locate a copy of the obit (if it exists) for Eliza B. CUNNINGHAM. She died on June 19,1941 in Hazen, AR. She is buried in Center Point Cemetery. Her date of birth was Sept. 20, 1861. Her husband was T.Y. (Thomas Y.) CUNNINGHAM. His date of death was May 14, 1924. I would like to find his obit if possible, too. He was also buried in Center Point Cemetery. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for Elijah CHAMBERS. He purchased land in 1855 in Prairie County. The only reference to CHAMBERS I found at your site was the name R.F.T. CHAMBERS infant son. His death is listed in the abstracts from early county newspapers on your site. How would I go about ordering a copy of the full newspaper account? I live in Oregon but do have access to microfilm. Thank you. Becky Soules

What would be the name of the Des Arc newspaper for April 1864? Where would I find an index or archive of this information? Are there volunteers for lookups?

LANGER: I am seeking information on Josef/Joseph LANGER b. in Kunvald, Bohemia. Until now I had thought he died in Anselmo, Custer Cty, NE. He was married first to Caroline SPILLER of Kunvald. They had at least two children: Marie was born Sept 10, 1862 in Kunvald. She married Emilian Hazel KNOELL in 1880 in Kunvald or Rokitnitz, Bohemia. They emigrated in about 1892 and settled in Custer Cty NE. Marie had a brother named Franklin b. 1876 in Kunvald who died in 1923 in Hazen Twp, Prairie County AR. Information on site about the 1910 census has Joe 58 as head of family and farmer married to Josephine 56 (who must be a second wife). Children are Frank 32 (must be brother of Marie) and Joe 18. In the cemetery index, I find LANGERs: Edward, Francis, Frank, Gene, Joe, Josef, and Josephine. This family was Catholic. I would really appreciate anything about them. Josef is my GGgrandfather and his daughter, Marie, is my Ggrandmother. Audrey
