Am desperately seeking an obituary, or any other information regarding the death of my Uncle Francis Bernard BEAM [listed as F. Bernie BEAM in the online Prairie County Cemetery Index.] Bernard [pronounced "Ber'-nerd] was born in Allegan County, Michigan in 1914 and continued to lived in SW Michigan i.e. Berrien and Van Buren Counties until the mid "50's" when he moved to Hazen, Prairie County, Arkansas. His move was a result of his second marriage to one Jean SANDERS/SAUNDERS, a native of Arkansas. I recall that Bernard/Bernie had adopted two male children (brothers) who would now be in their late "40's," or perhaps as old as 50. Bernard/Bernie was said to have been the owner of an Automobile Dealership in/around Hazen, although this may or may not be accurate. Bernard/Bernie was the second eldest son of Harley Earle BEAM (1881-1962) and Frances ROBINSON (1888-1964,) both of Allegan, then Berrien, then Van Buren County [Michigan] residents. Only two of his siblings remain alive - [my aunt] Virginia B. BEAM-NORTON of Jackson [Jackson Co., Michigan] and my father, Jared Earle BEAM, who currently resides in Van Nuys, Los Angeles County, California. Note that his [Bernard's] date of death was reportedly 1987. Note also that Bernard was a 1st. Lt. (Army) in WWII, along with my father, Jared Earle, -and- two other male siblings who have passed away recently - Herbert Clare BEAM [1921-1998] and older brother, Garth Earle BEAM, [1913-2000.] As stated, I welcome any information regarding Bernard's death, with a particular reference/mention of his WWII service so as to include, and therby honor his name in the Military Registry currently being assembled in Van Buren County, Michigan. Thank you in advance for any/all information. beamg@cybersol.com Gary A. Searching for info on Randle/Randy GRISSOM. Did his wife, Frances, die in that county? He remarried there to a widow SHIELDS. Is there a marriage record? Did the new wife die there or go to Texas with Randy? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to find out about Burl & John BEEMAN of Biscoe, Ar. Burl killed his Dad in either 1933 or 1944, then later became a decon of a church. John went to the pen for about 5yrs for a crime he did not commit. After he got out he ended up in a train car & was crushed to death when logs was loaded on top of him. I believed they worked for Brown Lumber Co at one time.I know this isn't much to go on but I'm hoping someone out there knows something.

I have told that my g/g/grandfather James L. SPEER went off to war and died of a disease In Des Arc. I have a date of abt. Mar 1862. One report was that there is a boulder near White River with several names on it. I have been doing my family tree and right now and getting pictures of the grave stones. So far I have not found anything as where the exact location is. I have checked several Civil War micro films and came up empty. It it was told that my g/g/grandmother went to Ark. on a mule and wagon to find out what happened. If you have any information that can help please let me know.
