Phillip was born May 26, 1810 in Ohio. He died in 1881 at Dodd City, AR He married Catharine Fink February 07, 1837 in Richland Ohio. She was born September 25, 1818 and died in 1887 at Dodd city AR. They are both buried in the Dodd City Cemetery in unmarked graves. They had 11 children. Martin Van Buren, Sylva Jane, Johnson, Elnora, James Knox Polk, Emerila, Jacob, Jefferson Andrew, Henry Valentine, Naomi and Elizabeth Ester.
