The more people you can get to come along, the lower the average cost. 4) PRE-REGISTRATION: It is not mandatory to pre-register. However, we request that you indicate your interest for three reasons: so we can (1) let you know if an unforeseen event causes a change in plans, (2) give you further details on the reunion if necessary, and (3) coordinate the food dishes for the Saturday night dinner. So please return the little form included in this letter if you plan to attend or are considering doing so. 5) MEALS: A Saturday evening pot luck dinner is the main event. For other meals we make our own arrangements, usually going to local restaurants in groups. Coffee and a microwave will be available at the Center. 6) WHAT TO BRING FOR POT LUCK DINNER: Freda Bell of Harrison will coordinate the dinner. Local people should contact her. Out of towners need not prepare a dish; instead they can purchase items from a list of needs that will be available at the time of checking in. 7) ACTIVITIES: Mostly talking; also visiting cemeteries; visiting historical society museum. 8) WHAT ELSE TO BRING: camera, old photos, genealogy papers. I have compiled an attendance list of the past reunions. So if you have photographs from past reunions, this list will help you identify people in your reunion photographs. 9) SPREAD THE WORD: about the reunion to anyone in your family, anyone you see, and anyone you correspond with. Notices cannot be sent to everyone, so we rely on word of mouth. Please do not assume others received an invitation. 10) EMAIL: Our expenses for correspondence could be reduced by using email in the future. Therefore it would help if you send in your email address if you happen to have one, and further it would help if you send the email addresses you have of any other family members -- whether they will attend or not. 11) CONTACTS: Freda Bell 205 Watergate Rd, Harrison, AR 72601, 870-743-1186 for information on Motels, etc. and to receive a registration form or Email to: firstname.lastname@example.org Jim Turbett
