This is a picture of my great grandfather William (Bill) Horton he was born in 1846 in VA. He is listed in the 1880 census for Marion Co. He owned land outside of Dodd City in the area known as Markle Hollow. This picture of him was taken at my grandma's house (Tyne Sullivan his daughter) he is standing next to the spring house where they kept their butter, etc. cold. This place is located way up on Markle Hollow, the house is gone now but the spring house was still standing in 1996
