Josie Black - born Dec 11, 1907 Flippin; married Claude E Younger Nov 10, 1924 Yellville; died April 15, 1936 Gassville Hospital, buried Flippin Cemetery.
Josie was the daughter of Sarah Nancy Black who was born Sept 24, 1888 Union, Fulton Co. AR; died Jan. 20, 1913 Kingdom Springs, buried Moccasin Cemetery. Josie was raised by her grandfather, John Noble Black, after the death of her mother and grandmother, Mary Shelby (Talley) Black. Both of them died the same year, one month apart.
