Mountaineer Echo Newspaper Week of July 8, 2004 issue: Reverend Abner M. SEAWRIGHT, Jr. of Wewoka, Oklahoma died Sunday, July 4, 2004 at his home in Wewoka. He was 69 years old. Rev. SEAWRIGHT was born November 10, 1934 in Flippin, Arkansas to Abner M., Sr. and Josie Idella WILSON SEAWRIGHT. On April 14, 1952 in Flippin, AR, he married Katherene JAMES. Rev. SEAWRIGHT was a pastor for 17 years and retired in 2000 from the Alice Gace Baptist Church in Texas. He was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Seminole, OK. He moved to Wewoka four years ago from Alice, Texas. Survivors include his wife Katherene SEAWRIGHT of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Marsha SEAWRIGHT of Wewoka, OK; daughter and son-in-law, Milynda and Larry KELLEY of Flippin, AR; brother, Sam SEAWRIGHT of Flippin, AR; sisters, Wanda SMITH of Yellville, AR and Carolyn TREAT of Mountain Home, AR; four grandchildren, Melissa DEARMAN, Jennifer ROE, Shanna LITTLE and Matthew SEAWRIGHT; and three great-grandchildren, Tristen LITTLE, Ethan DEARMAN and Emily DEARMAN. His parents, two brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Funeral service will be Thursday, July 8, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel in Seminole, OK with Reverend Clay McCarly officiating. Burial will follow in Little Cemetery with Blaine DEARMAN, Dietric LITTLE, Arlie PROCTOR, Glen Deen JAMES, Larry KELLEY and Chris ROE serving as casket bearers. Mrs. MCENTIRE was born January 28, 1915 at Yellville, Arkansas to Steven Jasper and Millie Josephine MULLINS JONES. She married the late Russell MCENTIRE. She was a homemaker and lifetime resident of Marion County, Arkansas. Mrs. MCENTIRE was a farmer's wife, a special mama and grandma. Survivors include her son, Russell Dail MCENTIRE of Lufkin, Texas; daughters, Wanda Lee GRAY of Summit, AR, Edith May KORCHECK of Harrison, AR and Betty Lou SCOTT of Batesville, AR; two brothers, Earnest JONES of Yakima, WA and Claude JONES of Selah, WA; sisters, Alice DOWNUM of Harrison, AR and Senia Mae MILLS of Little Rock, AR; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Yellville with Reverend Marci Ward officiating followed by a Masonic service. Mr. PAUL vas born August 3, 1914 at Glendale, California to Lewis and Julia PATCHMAN PAUL. On February 27, 1970 he married Dorothy POUND at Rialto, California and in 1977 they retired to Arkansas from Hammond, Indiana. Mr. PAUL was a retired Electrician and worked for the I.B.E.W. Union. He enjoyed his computer, going to Masonic meetings, and talking to his Ham Radio Club members. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Yellville. James Leroy PAUL is survived by three sons, James L. (Sue) PAUL, Jr. of Eugene, Oregon, Kenneth (Brenda) PAUL of Houston, Texas and David (Madeline) PAUL of Hershey, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Janet M. SAMPSON of Sheboygan, Wisconsin and Carol A. Mountaineer Echo Newspaper Week of July 15, 2004 issue: Roland Ezra LONDO, 70, of Bull Shoals, died Friday morning. July 9, 2004 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. A Memorial Service is planned in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at a later date. Mr. LONDO was born June 11. 1934 at Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin to Ezra Joseph and Helen EHLERS LONDO. On March 13, 1957, Roland married Joanne MOORE at Waukegan. Illinois. Their family grew with the birth of a daughter and three sons. Camping for two weeks each year while the children were with them, was a highlight of their 47 years of marriage. They traveled to Canada, Mexico, and every one of the United States except five. On June 22nd last year, Roland and Joanne moved to Bull Shoals from Door County, Wisconsin to retire. Roland was an avid fisherman, deer and duck hunter, and an all-around sportsman. He also enjoyed planting a garden each year and was a member of the lull Shoals United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Joanne LONDO of Bull Shoals, AR; a daughter, Vicki L. (Douglas) SPITTEL of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin; three sons, Roland J. LONDO of Milwaukee. Wisconsin; David L. LONDO of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin; and Michael J. (Diana) LONDO of Waldo, Wisconsin; eight grandchildren, one great-grandson, two nieces and three nephews; his mother-in-law, Anne MOORE and sister-in-law, Nancy (MERLE) PARKER all of West Allis, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law and brother-in-law. Memorials may be made to Bull Shoals United Methodist Church or Hospice of the Ozarks. She was 97 years old. Mrs. TILTON was born September 9, 1906 at Ft. Douglas, Arkansas in Johnson County to William Jesse and Cordelia ROSS PHILLIPS. On December 22, 1929, she married Jack Tilton. She was a homemaker, farmer's wife and childcare provider. She was a member of the Pyatt Baptist Church since 1948. Mr. NEWMAN worked at Micro Plastics for over twenty years, enjoyed golfing in earlier years, fishing and being outdoors, and was an avid reader.
