Please remember the courthouse burned in 1887 and no records exist prior to 1888.
Letters of Administration are issued to the Executor(s) of an estate. I made this index by looking at each page of the book because the index at the front of the book lists last names only.
The county clerks of Marion County didn't have the best handwriting in the world! One clerk made his W and M identically. So, I have done the best I can with the transcription of this book. If you spot a misspelling please let me know so I can fix it.
