James Creek Township
Information & Map
James Creek Township also known as Jimmies Creek Township was created in 1858. The two names have been used interchangably over the years. No information as been found as to what township(s) it was created from.
It first appeared as a township on the 1860 Census as Jimmy's Creek with a population of 313. From the 1870 Census on it has appeared as James Creek Township on the census schedules.
A part of the township was used to create Keeter Township in 1906.
