Flippin Barren
Township Information
White River Township was one of the original Marion Co townships. Between the 1860 and 1870 censuses White River Township's name was changed to Flippin Barren.
Flippin Barren Township only appears on one census - the 1870, with a population of 350 people.
Then between the 1870 and 1880 censuses the name was changed back to White River Township.
