Marion Co TOC

Here is my WILSON family of Marion Co. AR. They came from Hickman Co. TN., into Marion Co. AR., Izzard, Independance, Cleburne, and Van Buren AR. And on into Old Greer Co. TX/OK.

You will find Adam James WILSON married Mary Jane WILSON. They are 1/2 1st cousins. B. F. (Frank) WILSON m. Jane J. MEADOWS are the parents of Mary Jane. Frank is the 1/2 bro the Thomas Easley (T. E. Tom) WILSON. Frank and his brother James A. Wilson b.abt 1832 followed their 1/2 brother to AR. Their younger brother Samuel A. WILSON remained in Hickman Co. TN. It is believed the A. stands for Adam and their father. Frank died in Jacksport, Jackson Co. AR. and James A. WILSON was the administrator. Thomas and Frank were both in The War Between the States. Frank was a blacksmith by trade and Thomas was a judge and clerk in Marion Co. AR. and a farmer. Thomas Easley WILSON and family is listed on the 1850 census in Marion Co. AR.

The parents of Thomas Easley Wilson is Adam William WILSON Jr. and Anna EASLEY of Hickman Co. AR. After Anna died in 1824 in Hardin Co. TN. Adam married again and we have yet to find the second wife's name even though Frank's children grew up with my father's family in Hess, Old Greer Co. TX./Jackson Co. OK.

Solomon George WILSON who married Sara Elizabeth HESS daughter of Solomon HESS and Sarah Amanda HESS married in Independence Co. AR. on 5 Aug 1847, are my grandparents.
