1. Jacob Lenore VanZandt "Jack" - 15. Born 4 May 1791 in Rutherford County, NC. Died About 1870 in Boone County, AR. Occupation Postmaster of Mt. Pleasant, Bellefonte,Farmer and mechanice.

Research: Jacob Lenore was born in North Carolina. In about 1825 he and his young wife moved to McMinn County, TN. Family story is that after the death of his son, Andrew Jackson and daughter inlaw Rhoda, Jacob stayed long enough to settle his son's estate and then moved. At this time I don't know the cause of Andrew or Rhoda's death. They didn't die at the same time. The family including some grown and married children all moved from TN. Jacob settling in Carroll now Boone County, AR. Others in Washington County, AR and Adria County, MO.He married Elizabeth Callahan - 16, daughter of Henry Callahan - 41 & Elizabeth McMurry - 42, 4 Sep 1813.

2. Washington McMurry VanZandt - 51. Born 1815 in NC. Died 1864 in Boone County, Ar. Died during the Civil War in the battle of Pea Ridge. His family went to recover his body and brought it home on a wagon pulled by oxen.

3. Eufama E. VanZandt - 44. Born 1816 in Barren County, Ky.

4. Andrew Jackson VanZandt - 13. Born 1817 in Barron County, KY. Died 1 Oct 1849 in McMinn County, TN. According to the dates, Andrew's son William was born after his death. He married Rhoda Ann Hinds - 14. Died After 1850.

12. John Write VanZandt - 11. Born 1847 in McMinn County, TN. Buried in Smith Cemetery Valley Springs AR. After the death of his parents John and his sister Sarah left McMinn with their grandparents, leaving behind one brother. John was raised in Carroll and Boone Countires in AR. He first married Margeret Byrd - 28.
