1. Nathan Enoch7 Long (Nathan Eastman6, Joseph5, Nathan4, Benjamin3, Abiel2, Robert1) was born June 26, 1810 in Newburyport, Massachusetts, and died October 15, 1872 in Marion County, Arkansas. He married (1) Nancy Jane Lewis January 25, 1842, daughter of Eber Lewis and Elizabeth Gibson. He met (2) Halie in Lebanon, Missouri. He married (3) Malinda "Lizzie" Friend in Marion County, Arkansas, daughter of Peter Friend and Sally?.

Notes for Nathan Enoch Long:
    Nathan was buried on his farm on Big Creek about one-half mile from where it empties into White River. When Bull Shoals Dam was built, his remains were moved to Hart Cemetery in Ozark County, Missouri.
    Family history says Nathan left PA in 1864 and followed his brother George to Lebanon, Missouri. After arriving at Lebanon, he was told that George had died in the Battle of Pea Ridge. When Nancy died in 1866 Nathan went back to PA to settle their estate. Afterwards, he brought his two sons with him to Missouri. He settled first on a farm near Lebanon, Missouri then moved south and settled in Marion County, Arkansas. Nathan owned land on Big Creek & White River.
