In your researching of Marion County, Arkansas, have you ran across any information on my great great grandfather, THOMAS HALL (b. TN) and his wife LOUISA "ELISA" JANE BURNS?(b. IL) They had three children who were born in Marion County, AR before they moved to Oregon County, Missouri in 1850!! (Possibly at Little North Fork?????) or in a close surrounding area?????

THOMAS HALL's father was PORTUGUESE (b. TN) and his mother was a WHITE AMERICAN born woman (b.TN) (Affidavit from MAURY County, Tennessee dated September 19, 1835, filed in Yellville, Arkansas and recorded on June 26, 1843 by J.M. COWDRY and Recorded in Record Book A. page 142 on December 2, 1847 by

Wm Barrett, Clerk & Ex-offico Recorder)

Their children born in Marion County, Arkansas were: 1. WILLIAM HARRISON HALL (my Great grandfather) b. between 1843 and 1846 (according to 1850/1860/1870 & 1880 Missouri censuses. (Oregon and Howell Co., MO) 2. Stephen C. HALL b. 1848 (Marion County, AR) 3. Alith E. HALL b. June 1850 (Marion County, AR) She was born just before THOMAS HALL and his wife moved to Oregon County, Missouri. THOMAS HALL and family were listed on the 1850 Oregon County, Missouri censuses which was taken on September 25, 1850, just two months after their daughter, Alith E. Hall was born in Marion County, Arkansas. Also listed as living with THOMAS HALL on the 1850 MISSOURI Census were: ZACHARIAH HALL b. 1830 in Tennessee and ZEPHNER HALL b. 1832 in Tennessee Both probably sons from a previous marriage in Tennessee?? They both were probably living with THOMAS HALL while he was living in MARION County, AR?? Their ages would have been, Zachariah, 13 yrs old and Zephner, 11 yrs old in 1843, when THOMAS HALL filed his Proof of Race Affidavit in Yellville, Arkansas and when my Great grandfather WILLIAM HARRISON HALL was born in Marion County, AR.

THOMAS HALL and LOUISA "ELISA" JANE BURNS could have possibly been married in Marion County, AR?? She was born in Illinois.
