Akin, 87, died Wednesday January 12, 1972 In Norman, Cleveland, Co, OK - in Norman Municipal Hospital. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Mayes Funeral Home with burial in Resthaven Cemetary. Akin was born in Marion Co., Arkansas, moved to Oklahoma City in 1914 and to Norman in 1945. He was a retired farmer and a member of Westside Church of Christ. Survivors include a son, Floyd, 1909 Graham, Oklahoma City; two daughters, Mrs. Nell Pennington, 2635 N.W. 13, Oklahoma City; and Mrs. Mildred Trad, 2705 N.W. 19, Oklahoma City; two brothers, W. L. of Little Rock, Arkansas; and Jim of Gentry, Arkansas; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. LAND RECORDS: Tobitha Akin, Marion Co., AR, Section 22, 19N Township, 17W Range, owned 160 acres on December 27, 1895. John H. Akin, Marion Co., AR, Section 22, 20N Township, 18W Range, owned 40 acres on November 15, 1854, and the same 40 acres on June 1, 1860, and 160 acres on May 15, 1877. Robert F.
