CURRAN, MCBEE posted by Mt Echo Newspaper on Thursday, November 18, 1999

Mt. Echo Newspaper, Nov 16, 2000 issue (Letters, opinions, readers' mail-page 2): In Memory of Billy CURRAN by Carl MCBEE: Billy, It's been a year now since we, your family, had to let you go. Such a man of courage I have never known. You showed great strength long before you were grown. You chose a career to help others, though the clouds were gathering from problems of your own. I had the pleasure to know you as more than a co-worker and friend, but also as a loyal companion who will stay with you until the end. There is a great emptiness within our hearts that you once filled, but in our minds and souls you live still. Love Unk (Carl MCBEE), Shailee ("Shell") and the entire MCBEE family. (A Poem follows which was written for Mr. Curran at the time of his death)
