(Ava, Missouri newspaper) March 13, 1975 EFFIE ALICE EVANS FUNERAL SERVICES Funeral services for Effie Alice Evans, 88, a long time resident of Ava, will be held Friday, March 14, at 2 p.m. at the Clinkingbeard Chapel at Ava. Rev. Carl Willis and Rev. John Moles will officiate and burial will follow in the Evans Cemetery. Mrs. Evans died March 10, 1975, at Chastain's Nursing Home, following a long illness. She was born March 19, 1886, at Fulton, Mo., the daughter of Harmon Gentry and Kimmie Lee Turner. On January 15, 1903, she married Thomas Luther Evans at Rush, Ark., where they lived a number of years. She is survived by three sons, Curtis Evans of Ava, Johnnie Evans of Ava, and Lee Evans of Ozark; and a daughter, Mrs. Louise Blevins of Ozark; 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Maude Hicks of Sacramento, California.

Mountain Echo, Yellville, AR 2 Oct 1975 Services for Mrs Beulah TILLEY, a life-long Marion County resident, were held Saturday at the Main Street Church of Christ. Mrs TILLEY, 63, died last Thursday in Yellville. She had been employed by the Mar-Bax Shirt Company. Mrs TILLEY is survived by one daughter, Mrs Wilma R WATTS, of Wichita, Kans., four sisters, Mrs Ann SCOTT, Mrs Eula OTT and Mrs Obeda COWAN, all of Yellville, and Mrs Florence KEITH, of Springfield, MO, and four grandchildren. She had resided in Flippin, and was the daughter of Felix JONES and Plina TREAT JONES. Rev Marvin TUNNEL officiated. Burial was in Ott Cemetery.

Baxter Bulletin, Mountain Home, AR 12 Feb 1976 Roy C HALL, 51, of Route B, Flippin, a farmer and a lifetime resident of Marion County, died at his home on Tuesday of last week. The son of the late Clark and Laura BURRIS HALL, Mr HALL was born at Rea Valley March 2, 1924. He married Imogene SETZER on Sept 17, 1947. Surviving are his wife, at the home; three sons, Dwayne and Lowell, both of Route B, Flippin, and Doyle of Yellville; two brothers, Willie HALL of Fayetteville and Luther B HALL of Flippin; and four sisters, Dorothy DUDLEY and Georgia HOLDEN, both of Flippin, Ruby MANN of Albion, Ill., and Laura YATES of Stockton, Calif. Services were conducted Friday at the First Baptist Church of Flippin with Rev Glenn HICKS and Rev Dale BARNETT officiating. Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery, near Flippin, under the directon of the Holt-Burns Funeral Home of Yellville. Pallbearers were Garland HURST, Dale JENSON, L G WAGONER, Cecil MEARS, Kirby WAGONER and Alfred HALL. Honorary pallbearers were Forest WOOD, Harold TREAT, Sherman B OTT, Raymond CROSBY, Harold WOODS, Tommy JOHNSON and Kenny HOWARD.
