ANDERSON, HUSKY posted by Mt Echo Newspaper on Thursday, August 11, 1921

Mt. Echo Newspaper: Mr. C. R. ANDERSON of Anderson Flat, in Independence township was attending court this week and said they had a fine rain Saturday. He also informed us of the death of Mr. Richard HUSKY which occurred Sunday morning. He said Mr. HUSKY had been suffering with gall stones for the past six or seven weeks. He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his untimely death. He was buried Monday in the grave yard at Anderson school house.

Mt.Echo Newspaper: Alvie ESTES of Crane, Mo., and Jack ESTES of Flippin attended the funeral of their brother, Dennis, Wednesday.

Mt. Echo Newspaper: After an illness of fourteen days, with malarial fever, Miss Clebie LAY daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will LAY of this city, died Thursday night. The body, accompanied by a goodly number of relatives and friends was taken to Bruno Friday and laid to rest in the Bruno cemetery, Mr. Jas. ROSE of Eros, conducted services at the grave. Miss Clebie was sixteen years of age - just in the prime of young womanhood, was very popular and had a host of friends who are grieved at her untimely death. Her parents, several brothers and sisters survive her, who have the heartfelt sympathies of their many friends in their bereavement.

Mt. Echo Newspaper: Mrs. J. C. FOSTER mother of Mrs. W. N. CHRISTIAN at Flippin who had been an invalid for many months, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. N. CHRISTIAN of Flippin, Wednesday evening of last week. The body was taken to Big Flat, her former home, Thursday and laid to rest in the cemetery at that place. Rev. J. W. BLACK of Cotter conducted the funeral service, She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. W. N. CHRISTIAN of Flippin, Mrs. W. C. NORMAN , Mrs. C. E. MARTIN and Mrs. H. E. HIXSON of Mountain View, Mrs. I. W. ROSE of Brent, Okla., and Mrs Willis BALLENTINE of Big Flat, and one son, Claude FOSTER of Melbourne. Mrs. CHRISTIAN and other members of the family have the sympathies of their many friends in their sorrow.

Mt. Echo Newspaper: Ambrose DOSHIER the 10 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Duffie DOSHIER died a few days ago of swamp fever, and was buried in the WICKERSHAM graveyard. The bereaved parents have the sympathies of their many friends.

Mt. Echo Newspaper: After suffering about two weeks from Diabetes. Dr. B. E. GREENE died on Wednesday night of last week at his home at Bruno. His brother A. T. GREENE came up from Morrillton and accompanied the remains back there for burial Friday. Dr. GREENE came to Bruno from Morrillton about two years ago and actively engaged in the practice of medicine up to the time of his last illness. He is survived by his wife and five children, who have the sympathies of their many friends in their bereavement.

Mt. Echo Newspaper: After a brief illness, Mr. James DUGGINS died Monday at his home in Rea Valley, of pneumonia. His body was laid to rest Tuesday in the Rea Valley cemetery in the presence of many sorrowing relatives and friends. Mr. DUGGINS was a good citizen and had many friends who extend sympathies to the bereaved relatives.
