Mountaineer Echo Newspaper Week of July 13, 2006 issue: Lisa Diane (ROBINETTE) BAKER, age 42, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away at the Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas on Monday, July 10, 2006 following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Mrs. BAKER was born in Austin, Texas on February the 4, 1964. She was the daughter of the Mr. ROBINETTE and the late Elsie (STINSON) ROBINETTE. Lisa made Marion County her home for the past 4 years. She was a member of the Peel Full Gospel Church. She was so loved by everyone that knew her. She loved the Lord and her church family at Peel Full Gospel. She was a real animal lover and proud owner of a new baby colt, Valcor. She loved life, her family and friends. She always had a smile and a laugh and brought a smile where ever she went. Her beautiful voice is now in Heaven's choir. Survivors include her husband, of Yellville, AR; father, and his wife of Alexandria, LA; children, two sons of Yellville, AR, one son and one daughter of Austin, TX, one son of Alexandria, LA; mother and father in law; brothers in law, of Campti, LA; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her mother, Elsie ROBINETTE, preceded her in death. Visitation was held at the Peel Full Gospel Church in Peel, Arkansas on Tuesday, July 11, 2006. Services were held on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Peel Full Gospel Church with Rev. Carroll Johnson officiating. Mountaineer Echo Newspaper Week of July 20, 2006 issue: Wade Cheynne MARKLE, 39, of Flippin, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at his home after a two year battle with cancer. Mr. MARKLE was born July 30, 1966, in Harrison, Arkansas. He married his college sweetheart on May 27, 1990 in Atkins, Arkansas. Cheynne accomplished many things in his life. At 18 he achieved the rank of black belt in Tae-Kwon-do and by 22 he had his private pilot's license. Cheyenne received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Arkansas Tech University in 1991 and his MBA from Indiana Weseyan University in 1000. After being out of the state for 10 years he and his family had the opportunity to return to the area in 2004 when he was hired by Eaton Corporation as a supervisor. He enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley, driving his Corvette and spending time with friends and family. He will be remembered by all those that loved him as a devoted husband, wonderful father, and a man of great integrity. Survivors include his loving wife of sixteen years; three beautiful daughters; great grandfather, Charlie RIGGS, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and many cherished friends. He is also survived by his father, a half-brother, and a half-sister. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Linda MARKLE. Visitation was held Thursday July 13, at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Funeral service was at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 14, 2006 at the Twin Lakes Baptist Church in Mountain Home, Arkansas with Dr. Sam Bailey officiating. Burial was in the Flippin Cemetery with pallbearers and honorary pallbearers. Mountaineer Echo Newspaper Week of July 20, 2006 issue: Services for Doris LYNCH, age 86, of Bull Shoals, Arkansas will be private. Mrs. LYNCH died Wednesday, July 12 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was born September 18, 1919, at Chicago, Illinois, to Adolph and Winifred OWENS DRESSLER. She married on November 6, 1943, at Chicago. She was a clerk who worked at Electro Motive, a Division of GM, in LaGrange, Illinois, for over 18 years. Mrs. LYNCH lived in Bull Shoals since moving from Chicago in 1980. She enjoyed golf, bridge, bowling and 26 wonderful years of retirement in Bull Shoals. She is survived by her husband of Bull Shoals, AR; one daughter, of Darien, IL; one son, of Evergreen, CO; two grandchildren, one of Darien, IL and one of Chicago, IL; three sister; and one brother. Mountaineer Echo Newspaper Week of July 20, 2006 issue: Jack B. KELLY, Jr., 93, long-time resident of Memphis, passed away on July 13, 2006, at the Marion County Nursing Home in Yellville, Arkansas. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee, November 19, 1912, and was the first born at the Baptist Hospital. He attended Memphis University School (MUS), attended Southwestern at Memphis (now Rhodes College) and was a member of the Evergreen Presbyterian Church. He was a graduate of Southern Law School (now University of Memphis), was a World War II veteran, was owner of Kelly-Sheddan Insurance Adjusters and was a CPCU. He was active in MTFA and loved coin collecting of ancient coins. He was preceded by his loving wife of 68 years, Beverly B. KELLY, also of Memphis. He leaves two devoted sons, one of, III, who now lives in Ottawa, Canada and one who lives in Yellville, Arkansas. He leaves six grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. He was a wonderful person with many good friends in Memphis and around the world. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation was held at the Canale Funeral Home in Memphis, Tennessee between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on July 14, 2006 and a memorial service was held at the Evergreen Presbyterian Church on July 15, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. He will be buried in the Boothe Family plot at Elmwood Cemetery, Memphis. Mountaineer Echo Newspaper Week of July 27, 2006 issue: John G. BLACK, age 76, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2006 in the Hilltop Nursing Center in Harrison. Mr. BLACK was born at Monett, Arkansas on January 18, 1929. He was the son of the late William and Velma (HENRY) BLACK. He was a retired engineer for the Lockheed Missile & Space Co. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a Shriner. He had been a resident of Harrison, Arkansas for the past 14 years having moved to Harrison from California. Survivors include two sons, one of Milpitas, CA and one of Tracy, CA; two daughters, one of Swifton, AR and one of Atlanta, GA;a brother of Yellville, AR; a sister of Yakima, WA; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. His parents and two brothers, Troy and Nathan BLACK, preceded him in death. Visitation was held at the Burns Funeral Home in Yellville on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 from 6-8 pm with services being conducted at the Burns Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 20. 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Fred Goodall officiating. Mr. GRAY was born in Summit, Arkansas on April 8, 1935 to Walter and Mary RICHARDSON GRAY. He attended the Yellville First Assembly of God Church and the School of New Hope in Yellville. Survivors include his brothers, one of Summit, AR, one of Festus, MO and one of Yakima, WA; a sister of Yakima, WA; 30 nieces and nephews; 48 great-nieces and nephews; and numerous great-great nieces and nephews. His parents; three brothers, William, Ben and Robert GRAY and two sisters, Ester GUTHRIE and Martha COOPER preceded him in death. Visitation was held at Burns Funeral Home in Yellville on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Services will be conducted at Burns Funeral Home on Thursday, July 20, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend James Foster officiating. Mountaineer Echo Newspaper Week of July 20, 2006 issue: Memorial services for Hugh Francis "Bert" VOIGHT will be held on Friday, July 21, 2006 at the Broadway Street Church of Christ in Yellville. Mr. VOIGHT passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at the Marion County Nursing Home following a brief illness with cancer. Visitation will be from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the church followed by the memorial service. Mr. VOIGHT is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army who served during the Korean conflict. Mr. VOIGHT was born in Washington D. C. on July 28, 1943, the fourth child of Fred and Dorothy PEARSON VOIGHT. Survivors include his son, and wife of Yellville, AR; daughter, and husband of Flippin, AR; granddaughter, of Yellville, AR; brother, of Seymour, TN; and many nieces and nephews. His parents, sister, Constance VOIGHT, and brother, Frank VOIGHT, preceded him in death. Mr. VOIGHT moved from Washington D.C. to the Yellville area in 1978 and enjoyed a busy life in the Ozarks. He worked for the Marion County Road Department, the Marion County Nursing Home, Harps Market, Allen's Grocery and recently retired from the Yellville-Summit School. His passion was sports and he spent a great deal of time volunteering from the many youth programs in Marion County from pee wee football to baseball. A football season was a time to enjoy and a basketball game with Georgetown playing was a delight.

Mr. BOGLE was born September 22, 1945 at Yellville, Arkansas. He was a member of the Woodland Heights Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a self-employed master electrician and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, of the home; son and daughter-in-law of Harrison, AR; daughter of Springdale, AR; father and stepmother of Harrison, AR; mother of Harrison, AR; and grandchildren, of Harrison, AR. Mr. ANDERSON was born June 11, 2006 at Raeger Springs, Texas to James R. and Gladys Geneva TODD ANDERSON. On February 4, 1962, he was married. Mr. ANDERSON retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service and was a truck driver for J.B. Hunt before his final retirement. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, of Yellville, AR; one son of Yellville, AR and one son of Horn Lake, MS; a daughter of Yellville, AR; a sister of Forney, TX; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. A gathering of friends will be held on August 13, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at her home in Yellville. Burial will be ____. Mrs. SEMELSBERGER served as the Marion County G.E.D. instructor. She and her husband, operated the former Red Raven Inn in Yellville for many years. She had been involved with many civic activities in Yellville and was a member of the Marion County Christian Women, the Marion County Literacy Council and Delta Kappa Gamma at the time of her death. She is survived by her husband, of Yellville, AR; a daughter, of Oakland, CA; surviving siblings include a brother of Ft. Myers, FL, a sister of Chesterland, OH, a sister of Santa Fe, NM and brother of Kalamazoo, MI; many nieces and nephews. Her sister, Ruth CONOR BOVEN preceded her in death in 2006. Born to Leo J. CONOR and Helen WILSON CONOR on January 19, 1942, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Cam had an active farm youth. She graduated from Michigan State University in 1964 and became a teacher. She taught school in Lompoc, CA, Fayetteville, AR and Yellville, AR. She received a B.A. in French from Michigan State University, an M.A. in English from California Polytechnic and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Arkansas. The family requests that there be no gifts or flowers. Donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
