	Newton Y. WADSWORTH was born July 23, 1851 in Autauga County, Alabama, the 
son of Daniel and Adelaide Norris Wadsworth.  He married Mary Ella Norris January 10, 1876.
He enlisted in Alabama Infantry serving until he was wounded 1865.  He died July 16, 1932.
Burial:  Holly Springs Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas.  Children:

	Green W. WAGNON was born June 18, 1842 in Cherokee County, Alabama, the son
of John and Sarah Childers Wagnon.  He enlisted in Company "H" 2nd Arkansas Infantry serving
from 1861-1865.  He was wounded.  He married (1) Nancy Brown, daughter of Samuel Brown 
(2) Missouri Baker, daughter of Moriel Baker.  He died 1921.  Burial:  Williams Cem. Bradley
County, Arkansas.  Children:

3.	Bessie May m. Walter Turner


	James WAITES was born March 24, 1824.  He married Amanda Reynolds, daughter
of Stark Hunter and Permelia Hairston Reynolds.  He enlisted in Company "C" 24th Arkansas 
Infantry.  He died October 6, 1891.  Burial:  Ebenezer Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas.

	J. J. WALKER enlisted in Company "F" 46th North Carolina.  Rank:  1st Lieut.


	Washington WALL enlisted in Company "D" 9th Arkansas Infantry.  He was 
killed July 1863.  Wife:  Evaline J. (Herring)


	W. H. WATERS enlisted in Company "C" 5th Arkansas Infantry serving form 
1862 - 1865.  Wife:  A. J.  He died January 22, 1881.  


	John B. WATSON was born September 9, 1844.  He enlisted in Company "I" 6th 
Arkansas.  Rank:  1st Lieut.  He married Arabella Gill, daughter of James N. and Arabella
Gill, November 20, 1867 in Union County Arkansas.  He died June 22, 1903.  Burial:  Shady
Grove Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas.  Children:

	J. D. WARDLAW was born July 22, 1835.  He enlisted in Company "C" 19th 
Arkansas.  Rank:  Private.  He died September 17, 1892.  Burial:  Hall Cem. Bradley County, 
Arkansas.  


	N. H. WEBB enlisted in Company "H" 20th Arkansas.  Rank:  Private. 


	S. L. WEEKS was born March 2, 1840.  He enlisted in Company "K" 2nd Louisiana.
Rank:  Private.  Wife:  Margaret S.  He died August 15, 1901.  Burial:  Williams Cem. 
Bradley County, Arkansas. 


	Simeon Streeter WEEMS was born 1832 in Alabama, son of William Weems.  
He married Ellie Godfrey, daughter of George and Nancy Wallace Godfrey, in Alabama.  He 
joined Company "D" 24th Arkansas Infantry Regiment under the command of Captain John H. 
Edwards.  He died while serving at the Arkansas Post.  Children:

2.	Cornelia


	H. M. WESTBROOK enlisted in Company "C" Mississippi Cavalry. 

	
	D. R. WEYAND was born June 26, 1845 in Pennsylvania.  He was a veteran of 
the Federal Army and was sent to the Battle of Marks Mill in Cleveland County Arkansas. 
He married Sarah Boyd 1884 in Bradley County, Arkansas.  He died December 11, 1934.  
Burial:  Oakland Cem. Bradley County Arkansas.  Children:  

1.	Mrs. W. H. Humbarger
2.	Mrs. Jane Barrett


	W. H. WHEELER was born December 23, 1833 in Campbell County, Tennessee son
of Nimrod and Kittie Wheeler.  He married Amelia C. Ederington October 1865 in Bradley County.
In 1862 he organized a company and enlisted in Col. King's Regiment, 20th Arkansas.  
Rank:  Captain.  He was a Methodist Episcopalian and died April 23, 1892.  Burial: Oakland
Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas.  Children:  

1.	John N. 


	Sim Whitfield WHELESS was born April 8, 1829 in Monroe County, Georgia, son 
of Sim and Elizabeth Sturdivant Wheless.  He enlisted in Company "B" 1st Arkansas.  Rank: 
Private.  He married Mary Catherine Cathey, daughter of Archibald Pinkney and Mary Cathey,
December 20, 1859 in Warren.  He died January 31, 1914.  Burial:  Oakland Cem. Bradley 
County, Arkansas.  Children:

4.	Walter Cloquitt m. Norma Brooks

	T. F. WHITE enlisted in Company "H" 1st South Carolina Cavalry serving 
from 1862 - 1865.  Wife N. E.  He died September 11, 1910.  


	James T. WHITESIDE was born June 17, 1836 in York County, South Carolina, 
a son of James and Hettie Ferris Whiteside.  He joined Company "C" Fifth Arkansas Regiment
and served until 1865.  He was captured at Franklin, Tennessee and was imprisoned at Camp
Douglas in Chicago, Illinois.  He married Catherine P. Singer of Bradley County in 1867.
No record of death.  Children:

	William Robert WHITMAN was born February 6, 1838 in Madison County, Alabama,
the son of William Fenner and Amy Byrd Whitman.  He served in Company "K" 4th Alabama 
Cavalry Regiment from September 8, 1861 and was paroled at Huntsville, Alabama April 1865.
He married Mary Scott Adkinson April 12, 1888 at Corsicana, Texas.  No record of death.

	J. A. WHITTINGTON was born May 7, 1848. Wife: Mattie. He died March 2, 1925.
Burial:  McFarland Cem. Service Record unavailable. 


	Daniel E. WILFONG was born July 10, 1836 in Catawba County, North Carolina,
a son of Daniel George and Ann Ramseaur Wilfong.  He married Susan I. Crawford, daughter 
of Alex and Sarah Culp Crawford.  He enlisted in Company "I" 2nd Arkansas Regiment Infantry,
serving until the close war.  He died 1896.  Burial:  Calvary Presbyterian Cem. Bradley 
County, Arkansas.  Children:

	John Willis WILKINSON was born in North Carolina 1817.  He married  
(2) Nancy S. McKinney, daughter of William J. and Martha C. McKinney.  He enlisted in 
Company "G" Arkansas Cavalry serving from 1862-1865.  He died October 16, 1888.  
Burial:  McKinney Cem. In southern Bradley Co.  Children by 1st marriage:

	Patrick Henry WILKINSON was born April 8, 1845 in Georgia, the son of 
John Wilkinson.  He joined Company "G" col. Caper's Regiment Cavalry May 1863 and served
until the surrender in 1865.  He married (1) Roda Council (2) Nancy Hampton, daughter
of James Bingham and Sarah Hampton, March 11, 1885 at Warren.  He died April 13, 1821.
Burial:  Union Hill Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas.  Children:

	Charles P. WILLIAMS was born June 3, 1840 in Bradley County, Arkansas, 
the son of James and Jane Brown Williams.  He enlisted in Company "H" 2nd Arkansas 
Cavalry serving from 1862-1865.  He married Miss Rebecca Emaline McKinney 1863 in 
Bradley County, Arkansas.  He died November 7, 1902.  Children:  

1.	Martha J. m. Thomas J. Fowler
     

	A. G. WILSON enlisted in Company "B" 18th Texas Infantry serving from 
1862 - 1863.  Wife:  Fannie G.  He died December 31, 1917.  Burial:  Outlaw Cem. 
Bradley County. 


	Elias Newton WILSON was born May 22, 1838 in Monroe County, Georgia, a 
son of Jesse and Martha Wright Wilson.  He enlisted in Company "C" 3rd Arkansas 
Regiment Infantry June 10, 1861 and was paroled at Griffin, Georgia May 1865.  Rank:
Private.  He married Elizabeth Jane Murphy, daughter of James Murphy, February 7, 1867
in Drew County, Arkansas.  He died July 28, 1922.  Burial:  Oakland Cem. Bradley County,
Arkansas.  No Children.


	Robert J. WITHERS was born June 15, 1820.  He married Miss A. E. Finch,
April 6, 1861 in New Orleans, Louisiana.  He enlisted in Marine G. M. Service.  He 
died June 18, 1901 at Longview, Arkansas.  


	Thomas J. WOOD enlisted in Company "C" Arkansas Volunteers.


	William WOOD enlisted in Company "C" 19th Arkansas Infantry.  He died
in service, October 20, 1862.  Wife:  M. E. 


	W. C. WOODARD enlisted in Company "D" 9th Louisiana Regiment of Infantry
serving from 1861-1865.  Wife:  M. B.  He died November 14, 1895.  Burial:  Rock Springs
Cem. Drew County, Arkansas.  


	Stephen C. WOODARD was born October 30, 1830 in South Carolina.  He married
Mary Elizabeth Hairston, a daughter of David and Isabella Hairston, 1858 in Bradley County,
Arkansas.  He enlisted in Company "D" 24th Arkansas Infantry and disbanded in 1865.  Rank:
Private.  He died September 10, 1906.  Burial:  Ebenezer Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas.

	William J. T. WOODARD was born January 11, 1829 in South Carolina.  He 
enlisted in Company "C" Hardy's Regiment Arkansas Infantry.  Rank:  Private.  He died
March 17, 1897.  Burial:  Ebenezer Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. 


	T. C. WOOLDRIDGE enlisted in Company "E" 9th Arkansas.  Rank:  Private.  


	Robert B. WOOLEY was born June 30, 1843.  He enlisted in Company "G" 9th
Arkansas.  Rank:  Private.  Wife:  Mary F.  He died August 20, 1897.  Burial:  Holly 
Springs Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. 


	William Parham WOOTEN was born July 1, 1846 in Monroe County, Georgia, 
the son of William and Martha Goen Wooten.  He enlisted in Company "I" 45th Georgia 
Regiment from March 7, 18864 until April 20, 1865.  He married Tempie Parker, daughter
of Richard and Susan Parker, September 7, 1868 in Monroe County, Georgia.  Children.

	Thomas J. WORD was born June 25, 1836 in Coweta County, Georgia, the son
of John and Elizabeth Summons Word.  He enlisted in Company "C" 5th Arkansas.  Rank: 
Private.  He married Margaret A. Bennett Hagan 1868.  He died August 19, 1899.  Burial:
Oakland Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas.  Children:

	Josiah WORSHAM enlisted in Company "G" 33rd Mississippi Infantry serving
from 1862 - 1865.  Wife:  Mary J.  He died March 16, 1899.


	Joseph Francis WRIGHT was born in Middlesex County, Connecticut, son of
Charles Russell and Mabel Kelsey Wright.  He married Maria Laura Barker, daughter of
James and Maria Laura Barker, February 19, 1863.  He enlisted in Company ""C" Sweeney
Rifles, May 1861 and paroled at Little Rock, Arkansas.  Children:  

1.	Jennie Laurin m. J. L. Floyd
2.	Frank Simpson m. Lucie Brown
3.	Mabel m. Dr. Rufus Martin.
