	G. S. SANDERS enlisted in Company "A" 26th Arkansas.  Rank:  Private.  
He died August 1912.  Burial:  Oakland Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. 


	Amos SAVAGE was born January 11, 1811.  He enlisted in Company "B" 
Arkansas Infantry serving from 1864-1865.  He married Elizabeth Stewart, 1861 in 
Bradley County, Arkansas.  He died November 5, 1886.  Burial:  Outlaw Cem. Bradley 
County, Arkansas.  Children:

4.	Missouri


	Daniel R. SEAY was the son of Charles Hinton and Mary Ann Beard Seay.
He enlisted in Company "D" 9th Arkansas Infantry.  Burial: Seay Cem. Bradley County,
Arkansas. 


	William Alexander SEAY was the son of Charles Hinton and Mary Ann 
Beard Seay.  He enlisted in Company "C" 19th Arkansas serving from 1862-1865.  
Wife:  M. E.  He died November 10, 1900.  


	Jeptha Franklin SHARP was born March 12, 1846 in Macon County, Alabama,
the son of John Floyd and Martha Adcock Sharp.  He married (1) not listed (2) Clara 
M. Cresswell, daughter of John and Mary Creswell, August 1887 at Monticello, Arkansas.
He joined the army September 1863 and served in Waddell's Battalion.  He was disbanded
at Columbus, Georgia April 1865.  He was a Democrat and died October 6, 1918.  Burial:
Oakland Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas.  Children:

	J. J. SHARP enlisted in Company "B" 36th Arkansas serving from 1864 -
1865.   Wife:  Mary A.  He died May 10, 1907.


	J. A. SIMPSON was born October 1833 in Jasper County, Mississippi son
of William and Jane Moore Simpson.  He married Mary E. Turner, daughter of J. D. Turner.
He enlisted in Company "D" Port Lock's Regiment Arkansas Infantry.  He was a Methodist
and a Mason.  Children:

4.	Martha
5.	D. Drusey
6.	Emma F. 
   Two children died in infancy.


	Martin SIMS enlisted in Company "D" 9th Arkansas Infantry serving from
1862 - 1865.  Wife:  Eliza J.  He died 1885. 


	Downer SINGER was born 1829 in Ohio, the son of Thomas and Elizabeth 
Singer.  He married Carolyn VanValkenburg.  He enlisted in Company "B" 1st Regiment 
Arkansas Cavalry serving as a Sergeant and Lieutenant.  He die 1864.  Children:

	Jefferson SINGER was born 1819 in Ohio, the son of Thomas and Elizabeth 
Singer.  He married Susan E. Quimby.  He enlisted in Company "B" Arkansas Cavalry serving
from 1863 - 1865.  He died November 18, 1873.  Burial:  Holly Springs Cem. Bradley County, 
Arkansas.  Children:

	Dixon SLOAN was born February 10th 1843 in Barber County, Alabama, son of
David and Margrette Baley Sloan.  He married Nancy Elizabeth Smith, daughter of Samuel 
Louis and Mary G. Smith December 15th 1870, at Moro Bay, Arkansas.  He joined Company "H"
20th Arkansas Regiment.  He died May 24, 1934.  Burial:  Union Hill Cem. Bradley County,
Arkansas.  Children:

4.	Samuel Dixon


	Benjamin Franklin SMITH was born April 3, 1842 in Carroll Parish, Louisiana,
the son of Cephus Smith.  He married Nancy Virginia Stuard, daughter of Riley and Lucy Stuard,
in Bradley County March 25, 1861.  He joined the army May 10, 1862 and served in Company "I"
2nd Arkansas Regiment and was disbanded at Greensboro, North Carolina April 26th, 1865.  He
was a Democrat, a Methodist and died March 27, 1923.  Burial:  Outlaw Cem. Bradley County,
Arkansas.  Children:

	Harrison SMITH enlisted in Arkansas Volunteers serving from 1862-1865.  He 
was wounded. 


	James Wiley SMITH was born April 2, 1847 at Moro Bay, Bradley County, Arkansas,
the son of James and Elizabeth Stephens Smith.  He married Sarah McDaniel, daughter of Henry
and Elizabeth McDaniel.  He joined the army 1864 and served in Company "B" 3rd Louisiana 
Infantry and was disbanded at Shreveport, Louisiana May 1865.  He was a Democrat, and a 
Baptist.   Children:

3.	Susan m. Edgar Shuffield
4.	George Sidney


	R. S. SMITH enlisted in Company "B" 2nd Arkansas Infantry serving form 1862 -
1865.  Wife:  Emma (Wedale).  He died April 22, 1905. 


	Daniel T. SPRAGGINS was born December 6, 1825.  He enlisted in Company "C" 
9th Arkansas.  Rank:  Private.  Wife:  Rebecca J.  He died April 21, 1908.  Burial:  Parnell
 Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas.  Children:

3.	Narcissa Catherine m. Rufus Alonzo McDougal

	William STANFORD enlisted in Company ""F" 32nd Alabama serving from 1861 -
1865.  Wife:  Jane.  He died August 1900.  


	Ancel Green STEDMAN was born January 13, 1837 in Chester County, South 
Carolina, the son of Samuel and Ann Thompson Stedman.  He married Margaret Waters, daughter
of David and Mary Waters, at Louisville, South Carolina November 25, 1857.  He joined the
army July 1862 and served in Company "C" 19th Arkansas Regiment and was disbanded at 
Marshall, Texas May 1865.  Rank:  Private.  He was a Democrat, a Presbyterian and died 1914.
Burial:  Hickory Springs Cem.  Bradley County, Arkansas.  Children:

3.	Levi Monroe 



	Gabriel STEPHENS was born in Walker County, Georgia.  He married Martha 
Wheeler, daughter of Nimrod Wheeler.  He enlisted in Flippen's. Rank:  Private.  Children: 

1.	William Monroe m. Eugenia O'Neal


	James Madison STRANGE enlisted in the 7th Louisiana Infantry.  Wife:  Martha
Jane.  He died December 31, 1907.  Burial:  McFarland Cemetery, Bradley County, Arkansas.  


	H. S. STUARD was born June 22, 1843.  He enlisted in Company "I" 2nd Arkansas.
Rank:  Private.  He died December 18, 1906.  Burial:  Outlaw Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas.  


	David W. SUTTON was born November 22, 18255 in Perry County, Alabama, son of
John and Mary Hay Sutton.  He married (1) Lamira Allis 1856 (2) Mrs. Elizabeth Shadwick 1865
(3) Mrs. Elizabeth Hawley 1876.  He enlisted in Company "B" Monroe's Regiment serving from
1862 - 1865.  Children:  

1.	William 



James L. TAYLOR was born April 14, 1837. He enlisted in Company "A" 46th Mississippi Infantry. He married Elizabeth (last name unknown) 1880 near Hamburg, Arkansas. He died November 1, 1903. Burial: McFarland Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. Children: 1. Mrs. J. J. McMurry 2. Mrs. W. P. Brown 3. Hugh 4. R. S. 5. M. M. 6. John L. 7. Mrs. Chavis Boykin L. C. TAYLOR enlisted in Company "K" 9th Arkansas Infantry serving from 1861 - 1865. Wife: Mary A. He died November 22, 1905. Altimon Lafayette TEMPLE was born 1830 in Alabama, son of John and Sarah D. Judge. He enlisted in Company "B" Arkansas Calvary serving form 1862 until October 15, 1864 when he was killed in the battle of Pilot Knob, Missouri. Wife: Sarah E. Whitesides. John H. TEMPLE was born 1823 in South Carolina, son of John Temple and Sarah D. Judge Temple. He enlisted in Company "C" 24th Arkansas Volunteers serving from 1863 - 1865. He married Martha A. Pryon, daughter of William and Sarah Hudspeth Pryon. He died August 22, 1896. Burial: Ebenezer Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. Children: 1. Sarah E. m. C. C. Quimby 2. Henry 3. Lloyd Tilmon m. TEMPLE was born March 20, 1848 in Leak County, Mississippi, a son of Thomas and Rebecca Carroll Temple. He married (1) Cathern Waits, (2) Dora Scroggins, March 1887. He joined Williams' Arkansas Infantry and served during the war. He was a Democrat, a Methodist and died April 11, 1919. Children: 1. Harvey E. 2. James Thomas 3. Mary 4. John 5. Bertha W. H. THOMPSON enlisted in Company "G" 9th Arkansas Infantry. Rank: Private. Wife: Mary (Phillips). He died March 1, 1875. James A. THORNTON was born October 30, 1843 in Cherokee County, Alabama, son of John A. Margaret A. King Thornton. HE enlisted in McNally's Battery. Rank: Private. He married Mrs. E. J. Brantley, a daughter of James Pirtle. He died February 28, 1909. Burial: Gravelridge Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. Children: 1. Mollie E. m. O. F. Neal 2. John J. 3. Maggie 4. Harvey 5. Norah David Crockett TRAMMELL was born February 6, 1835, son in Clark County, Arkansas, son of David and Lucretia McDonald Trammell. He married Mary Belton Lynn, June 30, 1858. He served with Company "A" Col. Grinston in the battles of Marks Mill, Camden, and Poison Springs. He died February 8, 1917. Burial: Shady Grove Cem. Cleveland County, Arkansas. Children: 1. TROTTER enlisted in the 17th Arkansas. Rank: Private. Ben Martin TRUSSELL was born 1846. He enlisted in Arkansas Infantry serving from 1864 - 1865. Wife: Catherine (Cattie). He died August 3, 1896. Burial: Smyrna Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. John TRUSSELL was born 1819. He enlisted in Arkansas Volunteers serving from 1863 - 1865. Wife: E. J. He died October 15, 1890. Burial: Smyrna Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. Zadok Carson TUCKER was born May 4, 1849, a son of Zadock Tucker. He married Nancy Victoria Splawn, a daughter of John Splawn. He was enlisted as a Blacksmith. He died August 31, 1934. Burial: Ebenezer Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. Children: 1. Mattie 2. Mrs. B. T. Trammell 3. Bevia m. Don Adams 4. Lillie 5. James Zadock m. Anna Belle Hewitt 6. W. V. 7. C. L. Alfred TULLOS enlisted in Company "E" 8th Mississippi Infantry serving from 1863 - 1865. Wife: Luvenia. He died January 20, 1925. Burial: Reaves cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. Alexander Barton TURNER was born in Bradley County, on January 30, 1834, a son of James and Kisey Hunter Turner. He married Nancy Davis, daughter of John and Ellen Davis, October 6, 1851, in Dekalb County, Tennessee. He was a Mason and Baptist. He joined Company "D" 2nd Arkansas Infantry in 1862 and was disbanded in Texas May 1865. Rank: Private. He was a Democrat and died March 23, 1914. Burial: Holly Springs Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. Children: 1. James Alfred 2. John Hall 3. Martha Ann m. Florence Hampton 4. Charles Boyde m. Florence Hampton 5. Samuel Barton Augustus Rascine TURNER was born in Bradley County, Arkansas on December 3, 1836, a son of Henley S. and Harriet Commett (?) Turner. He married Susan Ann Ricks, daughter of David M. and Mary Ricks, July 3, 1868. He joined Company "C" 9th Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Arkansas July 29th, 1861. Rank: Private. He was a Democrat, a Methodist and died in Warren April 24, 1900. Burial: Oakland Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. Children: 1. William L. 2. Henley S. m. Carrie Brooks 3. Jessie E. 4. Augustus R. m. Mattie Childs 5. C. Tobe m. Mary Will 6. Nick 7. Sue Belle m. Arthur Weiss G. F. TURNER enlisted in Company "C" 24th Arkansas Infantry serving from 1862 - 1865. Wife: Elizabeth. He died May 19, 1903. Thomas Henderson TURNER was born in Montgomery County, Alabama July 5, 1846, son of William and Sarah E. Etheridge Turner. He married (1) unknown (2) Jane Colvin, daughter of John and Elizabeth Colvin, October 29, 1889. He joined the army July 1864 and served Company "B" Flippin's Brigade and served during the remainder of the war. He was a Democrat, a Mason and died June 3, 1912. Burial: Pattsville Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. Children: 1. Mattie m. Robert Grider 2. Hiram 3. Emma m. Abner Kemp 4. Mollie 5. Bolie
William S. VEASEY was born in Granville County, North Carolina November 23, 1845, son of Fielding and Nancy D. Howard Veasey. He enlisted in Company "H" 20th Arkansas and participated in the battle at Marks Mill. He died 1910. Burial: Ebenezer Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. Never married.
