	John McDonald PAGAN was born November 15, 1844 in Noxibee County, Mississippi, 
the son of John Mills and Sarah Mills Pagan.  He married Sarah Ellen Thomas, daughter of 
William and Sallie Thomas, February 19, 1870 near Johnsville, Arkansas.  He joined the army 
1861 and served in Company "I" 2nd Arkansas Regiment.  Rank:  Private.  He was a Democrat, a
Methodist and died November 23, 1924.  Burial:  Calvary Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas.  
No record of children.


	Uriah H. PARKER was born June 22, 1797 in Georgia.  He married (1) Susanah 
Davis, (2) Mary Mothershed, Tempie McClendon.  He was a member of Parker's Cavalry Troop 
in Bradley County.  He died November, 1880.  Burial:  Parker-Prospect Cemetery, Bradley 
County, Arkansas.  Children:

	David Marion PARKMAN was born March 22, 1841 in Edgefield County, South Carolina,
the son of Henry and Elizabeth Huffman Parkman.  He married Martha Ann Seymore, daughter of 
Elizabeth Seymore at Monticello, Arkansas.  He joined the army June 1861 and served in Company 
"B" 13th Georgia Infantry.  He was paroled at Appomattox Courthouse, Virginia April 9, 1865. 
He was a Democrat, a Baptist and died November 27, 1921.  Burial:  Holly Springs Cem. Bradley
County, Arkansas.  Children:

	Joseph PARKS enlisted in Arkansas Volunteers serving from 1862 - 1865. Wife: 
Caroline. He died February 3, 1891.


	Jack PARNELL enlisted in Company "B" Arkansas Infantry.  Wife:  Elizabeth. 
He died December 18, 1903.  


	E. D. PEEK enlisted in Company "E" 28th Georgia.  Rank:  Private.


	Isaac Newton PENNINGTON was born July 16, 1846 in Bradley County, Arkansas the
son of Joseph Wolfork and Lenora Norwood Pennington.  He married Eliza Levenia Templeton, 
daughter of Amos Evins and Sarah Templeton, December 24, 1867 at Simpson, Arkansas.  He joined
the army in March and served in Company "H" 20th Arkansas Regiment.  He was disbanded June 1865.
He was a Democrat and a Christian.  Children:

	J. W. PIERCE was born in York County South Carolina March 26, 1841, son of James T. 
and Mary Garrison Pierce.  He was a member of Company "B" 5th South Carolina Infantry and was 
wounded in the arm near Richmond.  Rank:  Sargent.  He married Mary J. Miller 1865.  He died 
January 23, 1905.  Children:

	William PIERCE enlisted in Company "A" 19th Arkansas Infantry serving from 1862 -
1865. He was wounded.

	T. I. PIRTLE was born in Kentucky, a son of James and V. E. Morton Pirtle.  He 
enlisted in the Trans Mississippi Department.  He married (1) Miss A. S. McClendon (2) Miss 
Martha E. McClendon both being daughters of Marvel McClendon.  No record of death or burial.

	Richard Austin POLLARD was born September 2, 1833 in Monroe County, Alabama, the
son of Richard Austin and Charlotte F. Forrest Pollard.  He married Hattie Elmira Franklin, 
daughter of John Washington and Nancy Ann Franklin, May 2, 1866 at Hermitage, Arkansas.  He 
joined the army June 1862 and served in Company "C" 19th Arkansas Infantry.  He was released at
Marshall, Texas June 1865.  He was a Democrat, a Baptist and died May 18, 1912.  Burial:  
Holly Springs Cem.  Bradley County, Arkansas.

	Silas J. POPE was born August 4, 1822 in Cumberland County, North Carolina, son 
of Stephen and Jennie Pope.  He married Sarah Forrest 1846 in Mississippi.  He enlisted in 
Hawthorne's Regiment Arkansas Infantry.  He was a Democrat, a Baptist and died 1890.  Burial:  
Smyrna Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas.  Children:

	Robert Semple POWELL was born on January 24, 1848 in Haywood County, Tennessee, the 
son of Wylie R. and Louisa Virginia Thompson Powell.  He married Kizzie Temple, daughter of Lloyd 
Temple, at Hermitage, Arkansas.  He joined the army and served in Company "B" Flippin's Battalion 
from 1861 to May 1865 and was disbanded in Camden, Arkansas.  He is a Democrat, a Baptist and 
died December 31, 1933.  Burial:  Holly Springs Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas.  Children:

	John A. PRIMM was born   in Alabama, July 16, 1848, son of John T. and Nancy Abbott 
Primm.  He enlisted in Alabama.  He married Helen Dunn, daughter of Allen D. and Harriett Amanda 
Dunn, 1872 in Bradley County, Arkansas.  He died January 19, 1931.  Burial:  Dunn Cem. Calhoun 
County, Arkansas.  Children:

Thomas QUIMBY was born 1835 in Gibson County, Tennessee, a son of C. K. Quimby. He married (1) Susan McKinnie September 3, 1857 (2) Ophelia C. Russell July 20, 1882. He enlisted in Company "D" Port Lock's Regiment Arkansas Infantry and was disbanded in Marshall, Texas. He died April 17, 1889. Burial: Holly Springs Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. Children: 1. Amaziah B. REAVES was bor May 18, 1830, in Alabama, son of Joseph and Mary Reaves. He enlisted in Company "C" 19th Arkansas. Rank: 2nd Lieut. He married Anabella Hickman, daughter of John Lee and Betsy McDade Hickman. He died December 30, 1905. Burial: Holly Springs Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. Children: 1. Florence Clara m. Shelby George Washington REAVES was born December 10, 1845 in Wilcox County, Alabama, the son of William and Nancy Rowell Reaves. He married Elvira Nichols, daughter of Charles Nichols, August 6, 1864 in Clark County, Mississippi. He joined the army November 1862 and served in Company "F" 5th Mississippi Regiment. He surrendered with Gen. Joseph E. Johnson's Army May 1865. He was a Democrat and a Baptist. No record of death. Children: 1. Henry J. 2. Florence m. Calvin Cathey 3. Elbert E. 4. Maude m. Vester Erwin 5. Bertie m. Alfred Garrison 6. Martha m. Jefferson Mitchell J. E. REAVES enlisted in Company "G" 7th Alabama Cavalry. Wife: Francis E. He died April 15, 1898. J. W. REAVES enlisted in Company "F" 8th Mississippi Infantry serving from 1862 - 1864. Wife: Mary A. He died October 28, 1913. M. H. REAVES enlisted in Company "A" 18th Alabama Volunteers serving from 1861 - 1865. Wife: Mary. He died May 29, 1883. W. S. REAVES was born 1848. He enlisted in Arkansas. Service record unavailable. He died March 6, 1931, near Banks, Arkansas Obituary lists the following children: 1. W. S. 2. L. L. 3. Laura 4. Mildred 5. Irene Henry L. REYNOLDS enlisted in the Arkansas volunteers serving from 1862 - 1865. James R. RICE enlisted in Wright's Company Arkansas Infantry serving from 1862 - 1865. Wife: T. C. He died in 1905. Andrew J. RICHARDS was born 1828 in Alabama. He married Mary Jane Margaret Brock. He enlisted in Company "I" 2nd Arkansas Infantry and was killed November 25, 1863 at Missionary Ridge, Georgia. Children: 1. John Thomas m. Bettie York 2. Robert Frank 3. Alabama "Allie" m. William L. Hickman 4. Margaret Texas "Tec" Richards m. W. J. Hickman Jr. Henry Francis RICHARDSON was born December 14, 1845 in Walton County, Georgia, the son of James and Mary Elizabeth Clark Richardson. He married Margaret L. Broughton, daughter of Edwin and Epsie E. Broughton at Moro Bay, Arkansas December 13, 1870. He joined the army May 1862 and served in Company "D" 2nd Georgia Regiment and was paroled May 4, 1965 at Greensboro, North Carolina. He was a Democrat, a Methodist and died June 25, 1915. Burial: Oakland Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. Children: 1. Mary E. 2. William Harvey 3. Lucy E. m. F. Potter Jabez RICHARDSON was born July 11, 1838. He enlisted in Company "H" 1st Arkansas Artillery. Wife: Susan V. He died September 3, 1902. Burial: Holly Springs Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. James L. RICHARDSON enlisted in 2nd Arkansas Infantry serving from 1861 - 1865. Wife: Ella K. He died September 17, 1889. A. M. RICKS was born April 19, 1847. He enlisted in Company "E" 2nd Louisiana Cavalry serving from 1864-1865. Wife: Narcissus. He died January 14, 1924. Burial: Oakland Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. Thomas Jefferson RITCHEY was born September 23, 1845 in Drew County, Arkansas the son of Harden and Sarah Ward Evans Ritchey. He married Elizabeth Ann Keenan, daughter of Dr. and Mary Ann Keenan, in Franklin County, Mississippi July 24, 1867. He joined the army September 1861 and served until the surrender in May 1865. He was a Democrat, a Methodist and died 1882. Burial: Reaves Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. Children: 1. Charles William 2. Thomas Ivey 3. Sarah Elizabeth m. William Fike 4. Mary Catherine m. William Thomas Neely 5. Ida Graves m. Boon Gulledge J. V. ROBERTSON enlisted in Company "C" 19th Arkansas Infantry serving from 1862 - 1865. Wife: Mary S. He died June 30, 1897. Burial: Shady Grove Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. J. S. ROBINSON enlisted in Company "H" 7th South Carolina serving from 1862 until he was killed May 10, 1864. Wife: N. J. (Reed). David S. RODDEY was born June 7, 1841, son of David and Jane Isabelle Craig Roddey. He married (1) Margaret Amelia White, (2) Sallie Grose, (3) Emma Grose Balfour, both being daughter of William Grose. He joined the army June 1861 and served in Company "I" 2nd Arkansas Infantry. Rank: Private. He was discharged 1865. He was a Democrat, a Presbyterian and died December 30, 1911. Burial: Hickory Springs Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. Children: 1. John Barber 2. William David 3. Thomas Henton Jona S. ROWELL was born December 13, 1828 in Wilcox County, Alabama. He married (1) Nancie H. Dean, daughter of Nancie and Thomas Dean, July 1848, (2) Emeline Harrell, daughter of Jesse and Rhonda Harrell, (3) Mary Jane Bayles, January 7, 1853. He served in Company "D" 24th Arkansas Regiment, February 1863. He died January 24, 1885 in Webster Parish, Louisiana. John B. RUFFIN was born 1834 in Alabama. He enlisted in Bradley County. He married Julia Ann Ivey, daughter of James Glenn and Elizabeth Ivey, in Bradley County. Children: 1. Mary Julia m. Dorry Von T. Howsen Matthew Harley RUTH was born March 11, 1839 in Haywood County, Tennessee, the son of Solomon Kendrick and Naomi Chestine Ruth. He married Carolina Ford, daughter of John and Mary Arrington Ford, at Caledonia, Union County, Arkansas January 21, 1869. He joined the army March 1861 and served in 2nd Arkansas Cavalry. He was surrendered and paroled at Marshall, Texas August 3, 1865. He was a Democrat and died July 25, 1913. Burial: Garrison Cem. Bradley County, Arkansas. Children: 1. Matt 2. Wilmot 3. Vivian m.
