Nina Garner NINA RUTH GARNER, 68 of Siloam Springs, AR passed on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at her home in Siloam Springs. Mrs. Garner was born April 6, 1939 in Madera, CA; she was the daughter of Ivan Vance Smith and Myrtle Rose (Fletcher) Smith. Nina married her husband of 45 years, John Archie Garner, on May 22, 1962 in Santa Cruz, CA. Mrs. Garner was a homemaker and attended the First Assembly of God Church in Siloam Springs.

Survivors Include: Husband John A Garner Siloam Springs, AR; 2 Daughters Robin Renee Coons Tulsa, OK, Kelly Denise Shoemaker & husband Charley Owasso, OK; 2 Sons John Archie Garner II Siloam Springs, AR, James Allen Garner Fayetteville, AR; 2 Sisters Raylene Smith & husband James Siloam Springs, AR; Helen Ward & husband Dink Hermiston, OR; 1 Brother Sammy D. Smith Siloam Springs, AR; 5 Grandchildren 2 Great Grandchildren.

ROGERS -- Linward "Dick" GODFREY, 85, of Rogers died April 10, 2006, at his home in Rogers. He was born Aug. 23, 1920, in Comanche, Texas, to Sadie Swindale and Walter Godfrey. He was a graduate of Comanche High School and worked for Swift and Co. for more than 25 years and for the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department for 13 years, retiring in 1985. His interests included deer hunting, fishing and gardening. He married Tannie Eulurl "Billie" Boggs Godfrey on May 27, 1944. He moved to the area 13 years ago from Little Rock, where he had lived more than 49 years.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Billie Godfrey of the home; two daughters, Sandra Kuntz and husband Doug of Fayetteville, Janet Shearin and husband Jim of Rogers; two sons, Gary Godfrey of Ward, Colo., Gregory Godfrey of Rogers; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers with Ron Ray officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Stockdale Funeral Services in Rogers, online at stockdalefuneral.com.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren, Michele Wood, Tanya Parchman, Stephanie Kuntz, Kelley Shearin, Cole Shearin, Micah Godfrey, Lisa Miller and Chris Kuntz.

Memorials may be made to the Seventh-day Adventist Church Building Fund in Bentonville

Bernice GOEBEL, 86 of Rogers died April 30, 2006, at Bentonville. She was born Feb. 4, 1920, in Monte Ne to Bruce and Cora Ingersoll McGarrah. She was a homemaker and member of Temple Baptist Church.  She enjoyed gardening and traveling.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Goebel.  Survivors include one daughter, Lynda Goebel of Rogers; one sister, Maxine Pruitt of Anderson, Jo; one granddaughter, Tasha Settles.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Temple Baptist Church in Rogers with the Rev. Ron Fields officiating. Burial will be in Benton County Memorial Park. Selmer Treat will serve as honorary pallbearer.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Temple Baptist Church in Rogers, c/o Rollins Funeral Home, 1401 Hudson Rd., Rogers, 72756.
