August 17,1889 AR, Wife- Mary Elizabeth LOFTON, Sons- Albert b. 1917, Harley b. 1919, John T. JR. (Jake). 4. Andy b. abt.1887 AR, wife- Sesame, Daughter Velma. 5. Annie b. abt. 1896 AR, Married a man named CRONNISTER. 1910 Perry County, Arkansas Census Burton and Caroline have John Thomas and Annie still living in the home as well as 2 grand children Myrtle age 4, and Sybil age 7 months. These are possibly the children of their son George. Also living in the home during census time was George NELSON b. abt.1865 TN., possibly brother of Caroline. YOUNG, YOUNGER posted by Jim Young on Wednesday, October 13, 1999: I am looking for descendants of my great great grandfather named David YOUNG. He is buried in the Nimrod Cemetery, Perry County, Arkansas. One story is that the family name was YOUNGER and later changed to YOUNG. I don't know that for fact. He was a Civil War Veteran.

DART, FIDDLER, TAYLOR posted by Jane (Dart) Ikemura on Sunday, October 24, 1999: Looking for any information on: Nimrod William DART b. ~1806 Maryland. Married Mary TAYLOR ~1823, Franklin Co, Arkansas. Their children were: Hugh, Eli, Rachel, Elizabeth, Mary, William, Thomas Isaac (married Ellen Elizabeth FIDDLER), Joseph, Sina and Nancy. I have reason to believe he may have died in Perry County, Arkansas around 1871 (found notation that there was a probate record). I show him on the 1850 census for Johnson Co, AR, then lost him. If anyone has any info on the DART family, or access to probate records in that year, I would VERY much appreciate a look-up. I have the Query Data book from the Arkansas Family Histornian 1962-1992, and Cherokee Roots vol. I & II, and would be glad to reciprocate. Thank you! Jane ikemura@inreach.com

James brought his family to Perry County Ark. from Missouri about 1880. I would like to find descendants of James VAUGHT, and I will share what little information I have on this family.

BAILEY, BROWN posted by Jim Bailey on Tuesday, November 2, 1999: I am searching for any birth records, school records or any other records for my grandparents. My Grandfather was born in 1902 as far as I know and his name was Lawrence William BAILEY. As far as I know he lived in Deberrie Arkansas until he and my Grandmother were married. My grandmother's maiden name was Olive Ruth BROWN. I'm not sure of date of birth. I do know that she also lived in Deberrie. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BLANKENSHIP, HARRIS posted by Pat Harris on Saturday, November 27, 1999: I'm looking for any information regarding my father-in-law's family. His name on my husband's birth certificate is Lillion Dale HARRIS, born Casa, Arkansas around 1925. He went by the name of Jim/Jimmy and died in California in 1983. He disappeared when my husband was a toddler. We located him in 1980/81 through the post mistress in Casa. She had contacted his sister Lavada who still resided in the general area of Casa. I'm trying to trace the family tree and keep running into dead ends. I believe there are also BLANKENSHIPS in the family. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Pat.Harris@Navix.Net
