Am interested in any information available about George Washington HENDRIX. He supposedly died at the age of 107-12, family legends vary his age, and is buried near Perry. Date of death is about 1945. I'm just starting with him and have little except legends to go on.

Hello, I am compiling a list of all known standing theater buildings in the US. Could you all search Perry County and tell me if there are any pre-1950 theater buildings still standing. The name, former names, date built, architect if known, the number of seats and the present use and condition is the information that I am looking for. When the list is finished it will be displayed by state at http://www.musicfortsmith.org Thanks in advance for your time and trouble, Joe

Any information on the families of ASHCRAFT and TURNEY. These are the surnames of my grandparents on my fathers side. I need any help since all I know is my grandfathers name was Arthur T. ASHCRAFT . His parents names Amon and Grace TUCKER ASHCRAFT JONES . My grandmothers parents were Cherokee indian bloodline (don't know which side though). My grandmother was Edith Ann TURNEY or Annie Edith TURNEY. Her parents were possibly John TURNEY and the maiden name of her mom was Polly WADE. Arthur and Edith had I believe 9 children with 5 being born in Perry Co. The family migrated to Missouri. Arthur ASHCRAFT was also born in Perry Co. in 1900. Any information on Petit Jean Mountain would be helpful.
