I am searching for info. on the death of my gg.gr.father, John MAYS. He and his wife, Francis ARMSTRONG MAYS are on the 1900 Houston Twnshp., Perry Co. AR census. Their children are Nora L. 1893, Maud A. 1895, Julia M. 1898, twins, Martha Viola, (my conn.) & Mary, Feb. 1901/02. John died right before the twins were born, but I don't know how. Francis moved back to Tipton Co. TN shortly after, which is where she lived bef. her parents moved to Faulkner Co. AR in the 1870s. I am interested in finding where John MAYS might have been buried and if there might have been a death notice on him in the local paper. Can anyone help me on this??? Many thanks, Kaye.
