MARSHALL, Fannie

Fannie Marshall, age 98, died March 25, 1999, at Beverly Health & 
Rehabilitation Center.

She was born April 20, 1900, the dauther of the late Ben and Molly Momon.

Her survivors include nine children, Christine (Charlie) Terry of Johnsville, 
Lummie (George) Boswell, Patsy Childs, Zula Clark, Frances Marshall, 
Russell Marshall, Otis Clarence (Mart) Marshall, Willie Ray (Mary) Marshall,
all of Banks, Margaret Childs of Hot Springs, AR; one step-daughter, Evelyn
Davis of Warren; one son-in-law, Mack Bowie of Warren; one sister, Velvet
Tatum of Banks; 47 grandchildren; 73 great grandchildren, 40 great-great 
grandchildren, 5 great great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives
and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Spence Marshall, three children 
and eleven siblings.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 31, 1999, at 12:00 Noon at
New Bethel Primitive Baptist Chruch, Banks.

Elder J. Yarbrought officiated and Elder Larry Smith is the pastor.

Burial was in Childs Cemetery by Hammons Funeral Home.


MARSHALL, Hubert, Sr.

Hubert Marshall, Sr. age, 66 of Warren, died Monday, November 11, 2002, 
at his home.

He was born June 6, 1936, the son of the late Benny Marshall and Maggie Tate.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Marshall; 10 children, Tony Marshall, Miranda
Sue Gilbert, Pennie Lewis, Jenifer Marshall, Hubert Marshall, Jr., Cynthia Marshall,
Kathy Byes, Orlando Byes, Janie Pickett and Brian Pickett: 5 step-children, Wayne
Charles, Angela West, Patrick Smith, Patsy Newson, and Kalilah Wyrick; one brother,
James (J.B.) Tate; 3 sisters, Nancy Wright, Helen Tate and Robbie Green; one aunt,
Susie Darrough; his mother-in-law, Mary Charles; 35 grandchildren and 2 
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, November 16, at the Chruch of Christ West Central
with Bro. Robert Waller officiating.  Burial was in Childs Cemetery by Hammons 
Funeral Home.


MARSHALL, Linda

Linda Renee Marshall, age 36, of Warren, died February 12, 2002, at 
Baptist Healthcare in Little Rock.

She was born April 18, 1965, in Warren, the daughter of Lugene Martin 
and Eva Mae Martin.

She was a licensed practical nurse.

Survivors include her husband, Hubert Marshall, Jr.; 2 daughters, 
Memory Martin and Tameka Marshall of Warren; her father and mother, 
Lugene Martin and Eva Mae Martin; 4 brothers, Tyrone Martin, Little 
Rock, Jerry Martin, Little Rock, Lugene Martin Jr., Helena and Leonard
Martin, Chicago, IL; 7 sisters, Carla Hampton (Jesse), Warren, Christie
Holloman (Taras), Atlanta, GA, Savonte Martin, Atlanta, GA, Sandra Martin,
Milwaukee, WI, Debra Gilbert, Nashville, TN, Darlene Blackwell (Robert),
Pine Bluff and Cathline Lee (Freddie), Forrest City; grandmother, Alma 
Peters, Little Rock; best friend, Ann Neal, Warren; and a host of aunts, 
uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were Saturday, February 16, 2002, at the Living 
Testament COGIC with Rev. Nolan Phillips officiating.  Burial was
in Mount Olive Cemetery by Hammons Funeral Home.


MARTIN, Earma H.

Earma Hampton Martin, age 83, died January 17, 1999.

She was born February 12, 1915, the daughter of Newton and Bell 
Hampton of Johnsville.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Willie Bell Bailey and Celestine 
Martin of Chicago, IL.; 2 sons, James Allen Martin of Chicago, IL,
and Artie Martin of Warren; eight grandchildren, Annette Martin 
of Oakland, CA, Karen Bailey, Artie Denise Martin, Anna Martin, 
Amamda Martin, Doris Wimberly Martin, LaTroy Martin and 
Chiffon Martin; 11 great-granchildren and one great great 
granddaughter; nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Martin; 2 sons, 
Clifton and Troy Martin, Jr.; 2 grandsons, Romell and Raymond 
Bailey; and 2 sisters, Nancy Jane and Lula B. Martin.

Funeral services were held Satuday, January 23, at 2:20 p.m. at the 
Power House Church of God in Christ.

Supt. Charles Booker officiated.  Bishop R.E. Matheney, Sr. is the pastor.

Burial was in palestine Cemetery by Hammons Funeral Home.


MARTIN, Henry

Henry Martin, age 67, of Warren, died Saturday, May 25, 2002, in 
New Edinburg.

He was born March 28, 1935, in Warren, the son of the late Viola and 
John Henry Martin.  He was a member of West Central Chruch of 
Christ and was employed by Maxwell Flooring.

Survivors include his wife, Emma Mae Martin of Warren, 8 children, 
Dorothy (Otis) Owens, Diane Martin, Ruthie (Thomas) Little, Retha 
(Eddie) Pierce, Bobby Martin and Robert McCoy, all of Milwaukee, 
WI, Christopher (Betty) Tate and Lekeisha Tate of Warren; one 
adopted son, Brandon Martin of Warren; 3 step-children, Curtistine
Nolan, Earl Charles and James McCoy, all of Warren, 2 brothers, 
William Martin of Little Rock and Charles (Jo Ann) Martin of 
Wilmar; 3 sisters, Alean Henry of Milwaukee, WI, Doris Rainey
of Little Rock, and Katherine Perry of Wichita, KS; his mother-in-law,
Mry Charles of Warren; 6 sisters-in-law, Icephine Jones, Bobbie 
(George) Patton and Sarah (Hubert) Marshall, all of Warren, Linda 
(Carson) Mathis, Alene (Bobby) Jones and Betty Charles, all of 
Dumas; 2 brothers-in-law, Leroy (Johnnie) Charles of Warren and
Raymond (Sharon) Charles of Gould; 34 grandchildren; 15 great-
grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Viola Martin; one son, 
Robert Lee Martin; 2 brothers Johnny Martin and Robert Martin;
one brother-in-law, James (Frances) Charles; one sister-in-law, 
Gloria Charles; and one step-daughter, Robbie Hampton.

Funeral services were Saturday, June 1, 2002, at Eest Central Chruch
of Christ with Bro. Robert Waller officiating.  Burial was in Harding 
Cemetery by Hammons Funeral Home.


MARTIN, Lorene T.

Lorene T. martin, age 81, of Johnsville, died April 22, 2000, at the Beverly 
Enterprise Nursing Home.

She was born January 1, 1919, in Johnsville, the daughter of Dee and Allie Trotter.

She was a housewife and a member of Palestine AME Chruch

Survivors include 4 sisters, Claudia Meeks, Maude Jones, Viola Jones and 
Murtha Tims; 5 children, Annie Wimberly, Virgil martin, Jr., Betty Cone, 
Patricia Clary, and Leotis Martin; 13 grandchildren, Dedrick Martin, Teresa
Cone, Jermaine, Ravenel Wimberly, Christopher Martin, Tori Martin, Tonya
Martin, Brian Martin, Crystal Clary, Tracey, Adam, Brandon and Brandy.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 27, 2000, at 1:00 p.m. at 
Palestine AME Church in Johnsville with Rev. C.L. Lovett officiating.  
Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery by Hammons Funeral Home.

MCCOY, Jerry

Jerry McCoy died February 11, 2006 at his home in Little Rock.

Born September 16, 1953 in Warren, he was a son of the late James McCoy, Sr. and 
Gladys McCoy.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara McCoy of Little Rock; 2 sons, Fernandez McCoy
of Atlanta, GA. and Roderick McCoy of North Little Rock; one daughter, Felicia 
McCoy of Warren; 2 brothers, James McCoy, Jr., and wife Catherine and John 
McCoy, Sr. and wife Rita, all of Warren; 2 grandchildren; one uncle and aunt of 
Las Vegas, NV and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were February 25 at Christ Chapel Apostolic Church in Little Rock.
Burial was at Rest in Peace Cemetery in Hensley, AR.  Arrangements were by Ruffin
and Jarrett Funeral Home.


MCCOY, Kentrell

Danny Kentrell McCoy, age 16, of Warren, died July 18, 2001, at Baptist 
Memorial Hospital, Forrest City. He was born August 21, 1984, in Warren, 
the son of Danny K. McCoy and the late Mary Brown McCoy.

He was a student at Warren High School.

Survivors include his great grandmother, Alma McCoy of Little Rock; 
grandmothers, Robbie Green of Warren and Bettie McCoy of Little Rock; 
14 aunts, Brenda Bledsoe Davis of Ft. Wayne, IN, LaRobbie Green, 
Audrey McCoy, Sandra McCoy, Linda McCoy, JoAnn McCoy, Becky 
Green all of Little Rock, Etelvina Tate of Orlando, FL, Janet Brown of 
Osceola, Margie Cross of New Jersey, Marilyn Meriweather of Houston,
TX, Annie R. Ward and Lee Vosia Jackson of Lima, OH, and Bernice 
Colbert of Tuscaloosa, AL; 4 uncles, Dwight Tate of Orlando, FL, Fred 
Green of Little Rock, Johnny Brown of Osceola and Audrey McCoy of Little Rock.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, July 27, 2001 at the 
Warren Cultural Center with Rev. Phillips officiating.  Burial will be in 
Union Cemetery by Hammons Funeral Home.


MILLER, Christine

Christine Avery Miller, age 80, died August 30, 2002 at Beverly Health
Care Center.

She was born November 3, 1921, in Bradley County, the daughter of the 
late Gertrude and Willie Avery.

Survivors include one nephew, Willie D. Avery and wife, Corrine of 
Johnsville; their children, Rosalyn Avery and Willie Jr.; one great-niece,
Christy Pool of Warren; and a host of other relaitives and friends.

Funeral services were Friday, September 6, 2002, at Palestine AME 
Church in Johnsville with Bro. Lewis Newton officiating.  Rev. E. 
Montgomery is the pastor.  Arrangements were by Hammons Funeral Home.


MILLER, Geneva

Geneva Miller, age 75, of Warren, died September 2, 2001, at Bradley 
County Medical Center.

She was born July 8, 1926, in Jersey, the daughter of the late Jessie and 
Garthula Belin.  She was retired from Potlatch Corporation and was a member
of New Bethel Primitive Baptist Chruch at Banks.

Survivors include 3 children, James Miller of Wilmar, Shriley Barron of 
Pasadena, CA and Martha Miller of Warren; one brother, Exell Momon 
of Pasadena, CA; 10 grandchildren, one god-daughter, Opal Bradley; and
a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were Tuesday, September 11, 2001, at New Bethel Primitive
Baptist Church, Banks with Elder Larry Smith officiating.

Burial was in Childs Cemetery by Hammons Funeral Home.


MILLER, Mary

Mary Poole Miller, age 63, died january 3, 2001, at Union Medical Center, El Dorado.

She was born December 15, 1938, the daughter of the late Ruthie Davis Poole and 
Marshall Poole.

Survivors include her husband, Ray Miller, of Hermitage; 3 daughters, Marcia A. Miller
of Las Vegas, NV, Coral F. Miller of Hermitage and Carolyn S. (Curtis) Williams of 
Hampton; 4 sons, Stanley D. Miller of Hermitage, Frederick B. (Janice) Miller of 
Hampton, Chris S. Miller who preceded her in death; 6 sisters, Morline Momon, 
Kathy and Carnelia Pool, all of Warren, Gloria J. (Lee) Smith of Kansas City, MO, 
Emma R. (Salma) Broughton of Mattson, IL, Cardelia (Roger) Hill of Pen, FL; 1 
step-sister, Rosie J. (Jr.) Marshall of Vick; 4 brothers, Marshall D. Poole of Los 
Angeles, CA. Dewayne Poole of  Minnesota; 1 step brother, Henry L. Kins of Las
Vegas, NV; 2 brothers, preceed her in death; 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren,
3 uncles, 2 aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins
and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 10, 2001, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy 
Deliverance Chruch of God in Christ, Warren.

Burial will be in A.T. Cemetery by Hammons Funeral Home.


MILLER, Mary

Mrs. Mary Luevenia Miller, age 64 of Crossett, died Suday, July 14, 2002, at the 
Ashley County Medical Center in Crosett.

Mrs. Miller was a native of Drew County, but was a resident of Crossett for the past 
33 years, a homemaker and a member of Davis Memorial C.O.G.I.C.

She is survived by her husband, Willie B. Miller, Sr., of Milwaukee, WI, 3 sons, Willie B. 
Miller, Jr., and Tyrone Dewone Miller, both of Dallas, TX, and James Lawerence Miller 
of Warren; 4 daughters, Louise (Curtis) Tucker of Crossett, Linda Faye Duke, Betty Sue
(Melvin) Brown and Dorothy Ann Miller, all of Dallas, TX; one brother, Elroy Daniels of
Warren; and 10 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Nellie Martin Daniels; 4 sisters, 
Maggie Miller, Everline Jacobs, Emma Miller and Erma Franklin; and 2 brothers, Buddy
Hill and Will Daniels.

Funeral services were Thrudday, July 18, at Davis Memorial C.O.G.I.C. with Bishop R.E.
Matheney and Rev. David Douie officiating.  Burial was in Mt. Pelium Cemetery by 
Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.

Pallbearers were Percel Freeman, Jr., Alonzo Hampton, Jody Harris, Mark Riles, Shaun 
Heldreth and Marcus Newton.


MOMAN, Murry, Jr.
   
Murry Momon, Jr., age 81, of Banks, died May 7, 1999 in the Bradley County 
Medical Center.

He was born December 12, 1917, the son of the late Murry and Candy Momon.

Survivors include 2 sons, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 14, 1999, at 12:00 noon at New Bethel
Primitive Baptist Chruch in Banks.

Elder Dennis McGaskey will officiate.

Burial will be in Childs Cememtery by Hammons Funeral Home.
