MARRIAGES WITHIN THE YEAR - FROM 1850 - 1860 CENSUS, MONROE COUNTY,ARKANSAS

     As the earliest Monroe County marriages from 1829-1850 are missing, the census information can be helpful. The existing Marriage Book B. (1850-1860) has only 6 marriages for the year 1850, each of which were after the 1850 census.

      The following information was abstracted from the census by Rose White. She included the names of each person married within the year, and a few other individuals in the household if thought helpful. Please check the census and keep in mind that there were errors made. There could  be others on the census who were not asked the question regarding their marriage. Also remember that some of these couples did not marry in Monroe Co.
