Permelia MYERS-PENNY-ESPEY I am looking for information on my g-grandmother.
She was Mrs.Permelia MYERS when she married my g-grandfather John Marion
PENNY in Texarkana, Arkansas on October 28, 1881. He was 27, at the time
which would make her d/o/b about 1954. The marriage record shows that both
were from Miller Co., Arkansas but I believe that they both later moved
to Cass County, Texas. Her maiden name may have been JORDAN. Her final
marriage was to a James ESPEY.

MERZBACHER posted by David

I am interested in any information concerning the burial of Confederate
soldiers in the Rondo cemetery on highway 82, Rondo AR. My great grandfather's
eldest son, John MERZBACHER, was in Company A, 19th Reg., Texas Inf., Waterhouse
Jr's Reg. Vols. His military record states that he was left in a hospital
in Rondo on the 2nd October, 1862 and died there on the 14th October, 1862.
I have some information placing his regiment at Rondo on the 6th September,
1862. I am also interested in any military engagements that might have
been fought in that area. My goal is to prove or disprove his burial there
and if he is buried in that mass grave, to determine how many and what
company they belonged to. Hopefully to place a monument.
