Sarah Ann Christianberry, nee Vandever [Vandiver] b. c. 1830 in SC to Enoch & Nancy Ann Bates Vandiver had one child with William Christianberry and they divorced. She married John Cunningham b. 31 Dec 1802 or 1 Jan 1803 in Bedford Co, Tennessee married Susanna Smith 22 Jan. 1822. After the death of Susannah Smith he married Sarah Ann in 1863. She continued to live near Oden, Montgomery Co. Ark. after his death in 1871. They had 3 children whose names were George Marion Goodner b. 4 January [April] 1864, Thomas Jefferson Goodner b.5 May 1866 and Nancy Ann Goodner b. 18 April 1870. Nancy married Thomas Royal Bates. Nancy and Thomas grandparents were brother and sister. Thomas's grandfather John Royal Bates, was a brother to Nancy's grandmother, Nancy Bates VANDIVER. The Vandiver family came to Arkansas from Georgia. John Cunningham Goodner was son of Henry Goodner & Eleanor Lokey. Henry was the 3rd child of Peter & Mary Goodner.
