Carroll County Lookups & Queries
Wondering how to to get in touch with others researching Carroll County ancestors? Message Boards can be a wonderful source of information, and a way to contact others researching Carroll County families. But they are sort of like the cork bulletin board next to the water cooler. You post your query there and hope someone sees it and responds, either today or some time in the future. Be sure to keep your e-mail address updated on the message boards so those future contacts can reach you.

Lookups
When requesting a lookup from one of the volunteers listed below, in the body of the e-mail you must include:- Your email address,
- The name of the publication you want them to check,
- The name(s) and/or event of interest.
Please
do not make overly broad
requests such as "everything for the surname SMITH." Not only are these
an imposition on the time and generosity of our volunteers,
but if the publication is under copyright, extensive copying can
be infringement. Most lookup volunteers do not live in the area so
they won't be able to go to the court house for you. They will only do
lookups in the listed resources.
If you have reference materials pertaining to the county and would be interested in doing lookups for researchers, please contact me.
