Marion Co TOC

I have a couple interesting photos I'd like to share. I think they were from the collection of the Covington's. I don't know anyone in the photos, but the stamp on the bottom says Shattuck and I think that might be a photographer in Harrison. Maybe someone will see these and help to identify?

The poster boards the children have read like this: "Jack and Jill went up a hill to see a mighty battle. We'll kill those Germans Jack said Jill, just like a bunch of cattle."

I about choked when I read it...those are some pretty strong words to have children parading around with!! But it is what it is I guess.
