Lloyd D. Bush, age 82, of Malvern passed away March 18, 2010, at HSC Medical Center. He was born July 18, 1927, in Oklahoma City, Okla., the son of Edmond and Willa Yerger Bush. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII, serving in Korea, and worked in law enforcement for a number of years before opening the Bush Protection Agency. He was a member of Keith Memorial United Methodist Church, where he taught the Men’s Class.
Preceding him in death is his father, Edmond Bush; mother, Willa Bush Jacobs; daughter, Kay Bush Moore, sister, Geraldine Bush; brother-in-law, James Ed Kelly; and sister-in-law, Coy Mae Parker.
Survivors are his wife of 51 years, Alyce P. Kelly Bush; sons, Keith Bush and wife, Donna of Hot Springs, Wayne “Ed” Bush and wife Ruth of Benton, Ted Bratcher of Florida; daughters, Angela Wilson and husband, Tony of Malvern and Stella Boca and husband, Mike of Kirkland, Wash.; sisters-in-law, Pearline Mathews of Carthage and Verneda Stewart of Magnolia; special cousin, Edmond Kelly of Tulsa, Okla.; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday, March 20, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the Regency Chapel with Brother Jerry Davis officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at Regency. Burial will be at Tulip Cemetery.
Pallbearers are James C. Mathews, Kelly Stewart, Bob Howell, Danny Riggan, Tommy Kelly and Joe Faucett.
