Bald Knob Railroad Museum
400 Market Street, (MoPac Depot)Bald Knob, Arkansas 72010
Welcome to the Bald Knob Railroad Museum website.
The Bald Knob Railroad Museum is located in the Freight Area of the newly remodeled 1915 MoPac Depot
in Bald Knob Arkansas. In addition to the
Freight Area several
displays are planned for the outdoor area. A combination car (part-passenger and part railroad post office) was recently moved
to site. It is believed to possible
be the last piece of the Missouri & North Arkansas Railroad. Plans are being made for it restoration. Additional plans are
being made to move the MoPac Caboose
presently located in the Bald Knob City Park, to the site. Other rail equipment and an observation platform are scheduled.
We are dedicated to the preservation and exhibition of both Railroad and Community
memorabilia in our Regional Museum. Donation are gratefully accepted. If
you have items of Bald Knob history that you would like to donate or loan to the
museum contact Craig Christiansen. If you would like to make a monetary
donation to assist with the restoration of the Combination car an account has
been opened at the Citizens State Bank of Bald
Knob. The Bald Knob Railroad Museum is an auxiliary activity of the
White County Historical Society and donations are tax-deductable
