He worked as a mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou JAMES of Yellville; one son, Gary JAMES of Yellville; one brother, William JAMES of Flippin; three grandchildren, Stacie JONES of Little Rock and Andy and Jamie JAMES of Yellville; and two great-grandchildren, Hagan JONES of Little Rock and Allie JONES of Yellville. Funeral is at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 4 at Elmwood Baptist Church with Rev. Arthur Anderson officiating. Burial is in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery at Yellville. Visitation from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. She was a member of Elmwood Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She lived in Newton County 14 years and was a prior resident of Marion County and the state of Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Armstead Caleb BOGLE in 1980; three brothers and two sisters. Survivors include a half-sister, Kathaleen MCINTIRE of Everton; two daughters, Neoma FREDERICK of Harrison and Mary ADAMS of Garden Grove, Calif.; a brother, Bill STEWART of Yakima, Wash.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. HUDSPETH died Sunday (April 19, 1998) at Mountain Home. She was 76. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery at Yellville. Mrs. HUDSPETH was born Jan. 27, 1922 at Yellville to Thomas P. and Huldah PATTERSON OTT. She was a housekeeper and bookkeeper. She was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, G. D. HUDSPETH of Yellville; two sons, Dennis HUDSPETH and wife Frances, of Yellville and Johnny HUDSPETH and wife, Karen, of Gainesville, Mo.; three daughters, Marilyn SPURLOCK and husband, Jim, of Huntsville and Skippy SHARP and husband, Donnie and Lucy SHARP and husband, Rodney, all of Yellville; one brother, Burl OTT of Marshall; one sister, Sue GIBSON of Yellville; seven grandsons, four granddaughters, two great-grandsons and hosts of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. LOGAN of Wichita, Kan., formerly of Yellville, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church with the Rev. Doyle Berckefeldt, pastor of the Yellville United Methodist Church officiating. Mr. Logan died Tuesday (June 23, 1998) at Wichita, Kan. He was 86. Mr. LOGAN was born April 12, 1912, at Cleburne, Texas, a son of Delmar and Myrtle SWEENEY LOGAN. He was a former supervisor for the Lear Jet Corp. He was in the armed services in the years just prior to World War II. He was a Methodist. He is survived by one son, Bill LOGAN of Wichita, Kan.; two daughters, Bennie KECKLER and Mary LEE, both of San Antonio, Texas; three granddaughters, two grandsons, and two great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Mildred. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. She was born June 13, 1916, at Yellville and was the daughter of Frank and Minnie CALLAHAN MELTON. She was married Sept. 10, 1935, to Mason BURROW. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church. She was a lifetime resident of Marion County and was preceded in death by both parents, her husband, three brothers, four sisters, one grandchild and two great-grandchildren. Survivors are one son, Carl BURROW of Yakima, Wash.; three daughters, Faye MARSHALL and Marie HODGE both of Yellville, and Syble TERRY of Midway; one brother, Doyne MELTON of Yellville; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. today at Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church with Rev. Doyle Breckefeldt officiating. Burial will be at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Yellville. Mr. ARNALL died Friday (Oct. 9, 1998) at Harrison. He was 18. He was born Aug. 19, 1980, in Singapore, a son of Harold and Audrey M. LEE ARNALL. He was a student at SMSU in Springfield, Mo. He attended the Yellville Presbyterian Church. He was a 1998 graduate of Yellville-Summit High School. He was a member of the marching band and the jazz band, and was a member of the Yellville Leo Club. He is survived by his mother, Audrey ARNALL of Yellville; his maternal grandmother, Alice YUEN of Singapore; three uncles, Dick SCHUBNELL of Las Vegas and Kevin LEE and Dennis LEE, both of Singapore; one aunt, Juliana LEONC of Singapore; and many school friends, teachers and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold ARNALL, on June 21, 1996. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Burns Funeral Home at Yellville. Burials will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Curtis Ian ARNALL, 18, of Yellville, a 1998 graduate of Yellville-Summit High School and a student at SMSU in Springfield, Mo., was one of two people killed Friday, Oct. 9, in a three-vehicle wreck on Hwy. 65 a mile south of Omaha in Boone County.

Mr. PIOTROWSKI died Tuesday (June 1, 1999) at Baxter County Regional Hospital. He was 54. Mr. PIOTROWSKI was born May 15, 1945, at Nevada, Mo., to Grant and Ella PIOTROWSKI. He married the former Pat BURROW Aug. 15, 1970, at Mountain Home. He was a mold repairer for Ranger Boats. He had lived in Flippin since 1972. He played and wrote music, enjoyed reading, writing poetry and fishing, and was a minister of the Jehovah's Witnesses. He is survived by his wife, Pat PIOTROWSKI of Flippin; his mother, Ella RUTHERFORD of Nevada, Mo.; two sons, Jeff PIOTROWSKI and wife, Tammy, or Yellville and Joel PIOTROWSKI of Flippin; one daughter, Melody PIOTROWSKI of Flippin; one sister, Rose HOLT of Nevada, Mo.; one grandchild, Joshiah PIOTROWSKI of Yellville; one niece Rebecca HOLT of Nevada, Mo.; and one nephew, Tim HOLT of Nevada, Mo. He was a carpenter for North Arkansas Wood Products and was a former member of the Carpenter Union. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Reba BIRRER; one son, Randy BIRRER of Yellville; two daughters, Eartha Lee HALL and Brenda Mae BURROW, both of Yellville; one brother, Roy BIRRER of Visa Lia, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Mrs. ALLEN was born Sept. 30, 1905, to Mr. and Mrs. William E. NANNY at Marion County. She married Hobert ALLEN on Aug. 7, 1925 and worked as a housewife. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Jane ALLEN of Yellville; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mrs. ALLEN was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hobert ALLEN; one daughter, Betty; and two sisters.

Ware Bryan LAFFOON Passed away Friday, November 5, 1999. Ware was born at Rush, AR on August the 12th 1907. He was the son of the late Thomas Madison and Prilda MAXEY LAFFOON. Ware was a retired minister of the gospel and a lifetime resident of Marion County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Euna Marie FREEMAN LAFFOON on December the 24th 1960. The Baxter Bulletin, November 11, 1999 Issue: Louise 'Bert' GENTRY DARE, 93, of Calif. Gatesville, Texas-Louise "Bert" GENTRY DARE died Tuesday at the age of 93. She was a Marion County native. Mrs. DARE was born near the mining community of Rush in Marion County on Sept. 17, 1906. She was the daughter of George W. and Eugenia HAND GENTRY. She attended Rush Creek School and later received a teaching certificate at age 16. She taught a number of years at Buffalo City. She owned a women's apparel store in Texas during the 1940's and 1950's. She worked for the state of Nevada in the 1960's and for the State of California in the 1970's. She also lived in Missouri and Oklahoma. She married Richard B. DARE on Oct. 7. 1965 in Carson City, Nev. She was a longtime member of Temple Baptist Church in North Sacramento, Calif. where she sang in the choir for many years. She is survived by one sister, Dora Lee GENTRY PHARIS of Gatesville, Texas; one niece, Doris SCOTT and one nephew, David SCOTT, both of Gatesville, Texas. Mrs. DARE was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Ernie GENTRY of Mountain Home who was Baxter County sheriff for a number of years. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Yellville. Memorial may be made to any Humane Society or charity of one's choice. Burns Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born June 4, 1920 at Rush, Arkansas to Roy and Ethel AVEY VICKERS. A life long resident of Marion County, Mrs. WAGONER was a homemaker. Survivors include one son, Marshel WAGONER of Cabot, Arkansas; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Her husband, Kirby K. WAGONER, and one daughter, Agnes Marie EDDINGS, preceded her in death. No services were held, only a private family viewing. Johnnie A. ELLIS, 72, Pyatt Johnnie A. ELLIS, 72, of Pyatt, passed away on Sept. 11, 2000, at the Little Rock Veterans Hospital. He was born Sept. 8, 1928, in Cold Springs, TX. He was united in marriage to Doris L. BYNOG. Mr. ELLIS was a retired automobile mechanic, a member of the American Legion, and a member of Seventh Day Adventist in Yellville. He was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force in WWII. He is survived by his wife, Doris; two sons, Matthew ELLIS of Pyatt, Wayne WOODS of Yellville; three daughters, Pam JONES of Peel, Stella JENNINGS of Missouri and Shirley CAMPBELL of Springfield, MO. Also surviving are four step-daughters, Rhonda DEAN of Pyatt, Bobbie GUTHRIE of St. James, MO, Renee DOWDEN and Donna HAYES, both of Pyatt; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mr. ELLIS was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, one sister, and one son, Johnnie Lee ELLIS. Visitation was held 5 to 7 p.m., Sept. 12, at Burns Funeral Home. During WWII, he served in the United States Air Force. Survivors include his wife, Doris L. He was 90. He was born August 2, 1910 at Yellville to William Harve and Lyda SUMMERS DOSHIER. Mr. DOSHIER was a retired truck driver for the Mayflower Moving Company. He was a Charter member of the Yellville Volunteer Fire Department, serving as the Department's Chief on two separate occasions, and a former member of the Yellville Lions Club. Survivors include, his wife, Jewell DOSHIER of Harrison; two sons, John DOSHIER and wife Kathie of Madera, California and Bob DOSHIER and wife Carol of Yellville; one daughter, Carol HALL and her husband Garry of Yellville; two brothers, Altus (Shorty) DOSHIER of Yellville and Clyde DOSHIER of Wichita, Kansas; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. One granddaughter, three sisters, and three brothers preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 14, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Tim Cypert officiating. Burial followed at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Yellville. GATTIS, formerly of Springfield, Mo., a custodian and World War II U.S. Army veteran, died Tuesday in Crescent Nursing Home, Yakima. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church, near Yellville, Ark., with burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery under direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Mr. GATTIS was born in Alicia, Ark., and served in the U.S. Army. He worked as an orchardist and custodian. Survivors include a son, Dan GATTIS of Yakima; a brother, Roy GATTIS of Harrison, Ark.; a sister, Nela Sue YANCY of Arkansas; and a half-brother, James DUFFY of Yakima. Inis N. MUNO. 83. YelIville Inis N. MUNO, age 83, of Yellville, passed away at her residence on March 19, 2001. She was born Oct. 17, 1917, at Summit, the daughter of Charlie E. and Sadie (EVANS) ALLEN. She was united in marriage in 1938 to George MUNO, who predeceased her Aug. 2, 1985.She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Yellville. She is survived by one nephew, Charlie ALLEN of Summit, one great-nephew, Tony ALLEN, and 3 great-great-nephews, Issac, Sawyer, and Nicholas ALLEN, all of Summit. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George, and one brother, Gene ALLEN. Visitation was held from 9 a.m. until service time on Thurs., March 22, at Burns Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. at Burns Chapel with Bro. Tim Cypert officiating. Interment was in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Walter BURROW, 94, of Yellville died Wednesday, May 30, 2001 at the Marion County Nursing Home in Yellville, Arkansas. He was born April 20, 1907 at Yellville the son of Frank and Alice BOWERS BURROW. Mr. BURROW, who was a self-employed farmer, was a lifetime resident of Marion County. He was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, Fred BURROW and wife Brenda of Yellville; four sisters-in-law, Theda DOSHER, Lena BURROW, Geneva REED and Velma JOHNSON; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. His parents, Frank and Alice BURROW; his wife, Blanche Rheva JOHNSON BURROW; daughter, Betty Jo; six brothers; and three sisters, preceded him in death. Visitation was held Thursday, May 31, 2001 from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home in Yellville. Funeral services were Friday, June 1, 2001 at the Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church in Yellville with Reverend Doyle Berckfeldt officiating. Burial followed at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Yellville. Georgia Faye KILLEBREW of Yellville died Wednesday, May 30, 2001 at University of Arkansas Medical Sciences Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was 59. Mrs. KILLEBREW was born September 25, 1941 at Marion County, Arkansas to Omer and Pauline RABY MELTON. On September 1, 1960, she married Pink KILLEBREW. She had been employed by Ranger Boats and the St. Louis Music Company of Yellville. Survivors include two sons, Vaughn KILLEBREW and wife Debby of St. Joe and Jerry KILLEBREW of Flippin; two daughters, Benita POLEY and husband Wesley of Yellville and Marsia NIBLE and husband Jim of Citrus Heights, California; her mother, Pauline MELTON of Yellville; four brothers, Frankie MELTON of Montana, G.C. MELTON and wife Phyllis of Yellville, James MELTON and wife Kim of Oklahoma and Omer MELTON, Jr. and wife Shirley of Lockesburg, Arkansas; one sister, Bonnie MARTIN of Lockesburg, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Alishia, Tracie, Justin, Shawn, Cody and Tiffany; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Her father, Omer MELTON; husband, Pink KILLEBREW; son, Harlin KILLEBREW; and sister, Euna, preceded her in death. Visitation was Friday, June 1, 2001 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home in Yellville. Funeral services were Saturday, June 2, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home in Yellville with Brother Ken Hilton and Brother Glen Hicks officiating. Burial followed at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Yellville. Pallbearers were James HALL, Doyle HALL, Loyal HALL, Burness STONER and Greg HOPPER.
