80. Thomason I am looking for the Family of John Ryer Jeff Davis Enoch Turner Thomason born 1864 in Kentucky;
one brother known George Washingtom Eli Columbus Thomason born about 1859. Both were said by elderly
family members to have come from Greene County, Arkansas. Their mother was from Kentucky, their father from
Arkansas. Family stories say John Ryer was born 6 months after his father marched away to war. Father probably
Confederate soldier (by John Ryer's added given name "Jeff Davis"), also may have had relative "Enoch Turner"
or Enoch Turner Thomason". One of the brothers was said to have been named after their father. Both brothers
settled in Hunt County, Texas at least by 1883. Delbert Thomason, son of George W. Thomason recollected his
father was a small bult man who liked to fight; also that his father would show him how to do something, then say
"That's the way my father taught me. "Delbert also recalled his father having owned a farm in Greene County,
Arkansas, and vividly remembers his father receiving a letter from his farm tenant in Greene County recounting
his troubles in which the fence had burned and a cyclone tore down the barn. Any help would be appreciated.
We've looked for this family for years. John Ryer was known to have kept impeccable records in a large
family bible but it was reputed to have burned in a house fire about 1929 in Hunt County, Texas.

86. William D. McKINNIES and his wife Ora moved to Paragould circa 1917. They are in the 1920 city directory
and 1920 U.S. census (I have copies). William was a lumber yard owner-manager. However, he apparently
did not own the land the lumber yard was on, since I could not find him as a grantee for any land deed in
Greene County. William's daughter Florence (from a previous marriage) married Robert BAUMHOFF in
Paragould in 1919. Florence and Robert were living with William and Ora in the 1920 census and directory.
William and Ora's son Henry attended the University of Arkansas, 1919-1923. Up to the time of graduation,
he listed his hometown as Paragould, so I presume his parents were still living there in 1923. The next I
know of William and Ora McKINNIES is that they were living in Poseyville, Indiana, in 1939. I know nothing
of them between the years 1923-1939. I know nothing of Robert and Florence BAUMHOFF between 1920-1941,
when they show up in St. Louis, Missouri. walloon@mailbag.com

127. AUTR(e)Y, BROWNING - I am searching for the parents and/or unknown grandmother of Lula Francis Autr(e)y and her
sister Anne, who were raised by their grandmother unknown.  Lula was born in Aug 1883 and married C.F. (Charles
Franklin) Browning in 1898 in Greene Co., AR.  They were on the 1900 census for Paragould.  In 1901, their first
daughter, Eva Wilda Browning was born in Paragould. I do have a photo of Lula, Anne and grandmother taken prior
to 1898.  C.F. and Lula - sometimes listed as Lulu or Lullu- were listed on 1910 census for Jonesboro, Craighead Co.,
They both passed away sometime between 1910 and 1916.  They are neither on listed on AR death index from 1914 on.
The 3 daughters were sent to the Baptist Orphanage in Monticello, Drew Co., AR - those records were destroyed.
Any help?  Email me at johnnmarg@msn.com   and put AUTRY in subject line.  Thanks so much - Margaret Pickens
