Trent "T. J." Young, Jr.

Trent "T.J." Wilson Young Jr., 26, of Rison, died April 4, 1998, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

He was born April 29, 1971, at Fordyce, a son of Trent W. Young Sr. And Gloria Powers Young of Rison. He was employed several years as a member of the management team of Piggly Wiggly Inc. and was a 1989 graduate of Woodlawn High School. He also attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello. He was a member of Center Missionary Baptist Church at Rowell (Cleveland County), where he was active in youth and church activities.

Other survivors include a daughter, Alyssa Young of Dumas; a brother, Chad C. Young of Rison; and his grandmother, Maxine Johnson Powers of Rison.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Center Missionary Baptist Church with Doney Blackerby and Harold Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials take the form of donations to the Kidney Foundation of Arkansas.
