Floyd V. Clary

Floyd V. Clary age 90 of Rison, formerly of Ozark, died Saturday, December 24, 2005 at his home in Rison. Mr. Clary was born December 20, 1915 at Clarksville, a son of the late John Wesley Clary and Mary Louise Vincent Clary. He was a graduate of Clarksville High school, retired business man, a former owner of Clary"s Wholesale in Ozark, Arkansas before retiring in 1983. Mr. Clary married Ora Mae Cameron on March 16, 1938 they were married 67 Years. He was a member of Trinity Faith Assembly of God Church in Rison. He served as Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent with the Assembly of God for fifty years, and was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. Mr. Clary was an avid fisherman, enjoyed playing dominoes with family and friends. He was joined in Heaven by his son, Junior Clary, parents, and brother James Edward Clary.

Mr. Clary was an adored husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Ora Mae Clary for 67 years of Rison; two daughters and son-in-law, Alta Gibbs of Houston, Texas, Barbara and Pete Neel of Rison; sister Wrenetta McCallister of Ozark; seven grandchildren and spouses, Stanley and Kim Wells of Houston, Texas, Wesley and Terry Wells of Ozark, Lori and David Sanderford of Rison, Jennifer and Joe Daugherty of Marietta, Georgia, Lance and Terrace Neel of Rison, Julie and Scott Griffin of Palm Harbor, Florida, Lacy and John Swayze of Hot Springs; twelve great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at 10:30AM at the Buie Funeral Home Chapel in Rison with Reverend Jonathon Hall and Reverend Joe Lee Poss Officiating. Burial will follow in the Moore’s Church Cemetery in Rison. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 27, 2005 from 6-8 Pm. at the Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Stanley Wells, Wesley Wells, Lance Neel, David Sanderford, John Swayze, Joe Daugherty, Anthony Brooke, Ryan Wells. Honorary Pallbearers: Curtis Aud, William Aud, Johnnie Poss, Jeff Green, Don Green, Dean Neel, Billy Joe Poss.
