Donald Ray Gambill

KINGSLAND — Donald Ray Gambill, 62, of Kingsland, died Friday. Survivors include three sons, two daughters, two brothers, four sisters, and 10 grandchildren. Services are 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church of New Edinburg. Burial in New Edinburg Cemetery. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.

Donald Ray Gambill, age 62, of Kingsland, died Friday, March 18, 2005, in the Dallas County Medical Center at Fordyce.
Born January 17, 1943 at Warren, he was a son of the late Raymond Gambill and Christine Gambill.

He was disabled in the Vietnam War and a member of the First Baptist Church of New Edinburg. He served in the U.S. Marines in Vietnam and received a Purple Heart.
Survivors include three sons. Donnie Gambill of Flordia, Tony Gambill of Fordyce and Mike Gambill of Kingsland; two daughters, Carol Ann Gambill of Little Rock and Jennifer Gambill of Kingsland; two brothers, four sisters and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 21, in the First Baptist Church of New Edinburg with Rev. Rick Bolin and Rev. Tony Atkins officiating. Burial was in New Edinburg Cemetery by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
