Dewey Max Wooten, Sr. was born June 20, 1922 at Mansfield, Arkansas to Dewey Melburn & Beryl E Farmer Wooten. February 6, 1945 he married Wilma I Rainwaters at Pulaski Co., Ar. They were divorced in January 1976 in Riverside, California. His second marriage was to Julia J. Neal in Riverside, California.

Dewey enlisted in the US Air Force or the Air Corps as it was called then, July 10, 1940. He states he has 4 years of high school education and his civil occupation production of bakery products. He served in WWII, Vietnam and Korea. More about his time in the service is below in his biography.

Dewey Max Wooten, Sr. passed away October 12, 2007 at Riverside, California. His burial was in Riverside National Cemetery there.
