Chester Clyde Wood was born February 14, 1920 in Brownwood, Brown Co., Texas to George Hardin "G.H." & Minnie Ethel Magness Wood. About 1940 he married Norene Benice Finney. I have not found a specific date although they are on the 1940 census together with no children yet. Chester registered for the military draft July 1m 1841 at Oltonne, Littlefield, Texas. His final rank was Cpl. He served with the Military Police. Notjing more is found on his service. Chester passed away May 24,2003. His burial was in Greenwood Memorial Cemetery at Greenwood, Sebastian Co., AR.
