October 24, 1942 in Sebastian Co. to Opal Marie Adams. On July 23, 2952 he married Jettie Riddle in Santa Clara County, California. Cifton registered for the military draft February 26, 1942 at Fort Smith,Arkansas. He gives his address as Hackett, Sebastian Co., Ar. October 17, 1942 he enlisted in the Army. He states he has a grammar school education. Nothing more is known about his service. Clifton passed away August 11, 2000 at Greenwood, Arkansas. His burial was in Liberty Cemetery in Greenwood.
