Arthur Smith Williamson, Jr. was born June 7, 1915 in Lavaca, Sebastian
Co., Ar. to Arthur Smith Sr. & Ida Carter Williamson.
In 1946 he married Mae Ost. On the 1950 census he is still in the
military and living in Portland, Multnomah, Oregon with his wife and 2
year old daughter.
Arthur registered for the military draft October 16, 1940 while employed by
Shell Oil Company in Levelland, Hockley, Texas. Nothing more is known about his time
in the service except in his obit and clippings below.
Arthur Smith Williamson, Jr. passed away January 28, 2002 at Bevard,
Florida. No burial location has been found.
